A Violins Song

~ Chapter Fourteen ~ Sleepovers

~ 1 week later ~

Lucy and gang have been practicing really hard all week, sometimes going over to each others houses to practice out side of school. They got the call back from the auditions to tell them that they are in. Upon hearing the news, Juvia and Lucy jumped up and down with joy. Natsu and Gray high fived each other and laughed while the girls celebrated. 

The quartet walks out of the school as the final bell of the week rang. Lucy is currently talking to Juvia when Erza and Levy come up from behind them.

"Hey Lu!" Levy says and swings her arm over Lucy's shoulder.  

"How are you Lev?" Lucy replies.

"Good, but I'm feeling a little left out. I wish I could perform in the Halloween Bash!" 

"Alas, it was not meant to be!" Lucy replies in a dramatic tone. Both girls laugh at each other while Erza is talking to Juvia about something.

"Girls." Erza says firmly. Every one turns to look at her. "I was thinking, since we don't spend that much time together any more, why not have a sleep over?! It's Friday  tomorrow and none of us are doing anything." Erza suggests. 

"Juvia thinks that's a perfect idea! Juvia has missed you all these past weeks." Juvia adds. Levy and Lucy nod in agreement.

"Alrighty. So who's going to hold it?" Erza asks. Lucy raises her hand slowly. 

"I guess we could do it in my house. There's a lot of room for us. " Lucy says. The girls look at her and smile.

"Thank you Lucy!" They all say at once and give her a hug. 

"I'm bringing Cards Against Humanity!" Levy says. The group looks at her in confusion. "You'll see." She says in a creepy voice. All the girls shudder.  

~ Time skip! Lucy's house!~

Lucy runs around her game room, putting chips in bowls, putting pop on the built in bar area. 

The Heartfillia game room: The game rooms walls are coloured a nice cream colour. White couches with periwinkle pillows sat in front of a massive flat screen TV. Every game counsel ever is neatly stored there. A whit area rug is placed on the dark hardwood floors. In the back of the room is a bar. Light purple breakfast seats are placed under the cream marble counter top. On the ceiling there were tons of Christmas lights (or fairy lights), they are covered by white silk sheets hanging decoratively, like a canopy over the entire room. Gold accents are placed all over the room to give it a homey glow.

The door bell rings and Lucy runs down the stairs to go greet her friends. She quickly glaces at the time on her phone and see that it is 6:00 pm. 'They are here on time.' She thinks to her self. Lucy opens the door to face Erza, Juvia, and Levy, their mouths gaped at the sight of her house. Lucy giggles.

"Are you guys going to stand there with your mouths like that or are you going to come in?" She asks.

"I might say Lucy, your house is very large." Erza says. 

"Well, dad likes to live large." She responds. Speaking of the devil, Jude him self walks down the stairs. 

"Lucy, are these the friends you have told me about?" He asks formally. 

"Yes father." Lucy responds shyly. She has never brought friends home, and when she did, her father didn't like them. The blonde hopped her liked these ones. Her father stares into each one of the friends eyes, silently judging them.

"Well, they look alright." He finally says. Lucy breathed out a sigh of relief. "Welcome to my home ladies! Please have a great time!" He tells them all with a happy smile on his face. Jude is just finally glad that Lucy has some quality friends. 'Layla would be so happy.' He thinks sadly before walking off.
