A Violins Song

~ Chapter Seven ~ Nurses Office Discussions

~ Like literally.

Natsu ran into the nurses office carrying Lucy in his arms. He kicks the door open where the black haired nurse comes rushing in.

"What's the matter child?" She asks in a sweat voice. Natsu sets Lucy down on the bed in the corner of the room. Lucy's blonde hair sprawls out around her head like a heavenly golden crown.

"She fell down in gym class and I think her arm is broken." He replied.

"Thank you. You may go back to class now."

"Is it okay if I stay here with her. I want to make sure she's okay." Natsu said sheepishly. The nurse nodded and walked over to Lucy. She propped Lucy up against the wall and wrapped up her arm a gave her some pain killers and a bottle of water. 

"I'll leave you two alone now. NO funny business!" She said jokingly. She went into her office and closed the door with a slam. Leaving Natsu alone with Lucy.

"Thank you." She said in a small voice. Nastu turned to look at her.

"You're welcome. Now please tell me your name?" He questioned. Lucy thought about it. 'He doesn't seem that bad. Plus, I do owe him from taking me away from hell.' So Lucy decided she would tell him.

"Lucy." She said quietly.

"What was that?"

"Lucy." She said a bit louder.

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." He joked.

"LUCY!" she screamed in his face.

"I heard ya the first time!" He said while laughing. Lucy's face was pink from a heavy blush that covered her face. They both laughed. "Now tell me your full name." He questioned.

"Do you really want to know? You might hate me." She said.

"I won't I promise!" He said.

"Pinky swear?" She replied in a shy childish voice.

"Sure, Pinky swear." He said and they locked pinkies. "Now tell me."

"Lucy Heartfilia." She said. Natsu was shocked. The girl in front of him was only the richest girl in all of Fiore.  "I know, I know. I'm supposed to be all pretty beyond compare and have classy manners and not be a nerd but I just can't have people think that I'm different! And I'm not special!" She said. Natsu nodded. "And now you're going to use me for my money."

"I will do no such thing!" He yelled. This caught Lucy off guard. "You are an amazing person! Not any old person would be that awesome at violin! I've heard you play!"

"Wait, you've heard me!?!?!" She asked.

"Well, yeah. You're amazing at violin!" He said.

"T-Thanks." She replied flushed.

"And i'm not to shabby at DJ ing. Wanna team up some time?"

"Electric violin?"

"Why not?" She thought about it for a while. Like he said 'why not?'

"Okay then." He replied as they shook hands in agreement. There was an awkward moment after that. Both of them didn't know what to say next. But it was a comfortable silence. Natsu sat next to Lucy on the bed and she could feel his side against her's. Oddly enough, she didn't feel uncomfortable, but the opposite. She leaned into him. "Can I use your arm as a pillow?" She asked. Her reply from him was a simple nod. She closed her eyes and leaned up against his arm. Her thought calmed and the pain in her arm was barley there any more. 'Natsu is so warm...'  She thought before Lucy and Natsu drifted into a peaceful sleep.

The last bell of the day rang and woke up our two favourite people who have been sleeping in the nurses office. Natsu jerked his head up, waking Lucy up.

"What time is it?" Lucy mumbled and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. 'Adorable!!!!' Natsu thought. He averted his attention to the gold wrist watch he was wearing at the moment.

"It's 3:25, school should be out in like, 2 minutes." He replied. Shock covered the blonde's face.

"We skipped the entire after noon sleeping?!?!" She exclaimed. Natsu nodded, Lucy got off of the bed and rushed to the door. "Dad's going to be pissed." She said under her breath. 

"Calm down Luce!" Natsu said, got up, and tried to calm Lucy down by touching her shoulder.

"And SHE will kill me for sure." She said exasperated. 'who's SHE?' Natsu thought. "Good bye Natsu. See you around." Lucy told him as she left the nurses office before Natsu could come after her. He was just left there sitting on the nurses office bed couch thing, totally and utterly confused about the time he just shared with the blonde nerd.
