#17 ─ late valentines

the next day after valentines , xiao woke up feeling nervous but excited at the same time. what would your reaction be ??

xiao got up extra early today incase anyone will caught him placing the flowers and snacks on your seat. he made sure he brought everything in his bag and hid it well.

when he arrives at school , he quickly ran up the stairs and went to the classroom where you have the first subject at.

he approaches the table where you always sit , also hoping nobody else would take that table , and took out the flowers , snacks , and also the letter.

he places the items on the chair instead of the table to hopefully avoid people finding it. after he was done , he pushed back the chair into the table and went back to the school entrance to wait for you ( sneaky lil dude .. )

he waits for about 10 minutes for you to arrive ... and when you do , you were with yanfei and hutao already. wow what a great start xiao thought.

anyways , since he didn't wanna interfere with you and your friends at this point , he just went back to his classroom instead , hoping for the best to whatever is gonna come.

his heart is pounding and his face starts to get red just by the thought of you reading his letter ... maybe it was a bit cringe but you wouldn't know it was him who wrote it right .. ?

after finally arriving at your class with your friends , you noticed something colorful sticking out of your chair.

"wait theres something on my chair─ what the ..." you say in shock. you definitely didn't expect a sanrio bouquet with snacks and a letter to be waiting for you at your chair ...

"WHO IS THAT FROM ..." hutao screams in shock as well , how could you be this lucky ??

"wait theres a letter." yanfei pointed out as she lightly took it and gave it to you. while opening the letter , you couldn't help but get all excited and flustered on the inside.

"hi y/n , i know its not valentines anymore but i wrote this during valentines right before midnight so i think it still counts. im also sorry that i cant reveal my identity to you just yet , but hopefully sometime in the future i would be more confident. anyways , i just wanted to let you know that i really love you. really really really love you actually. i swear your always at my mind no matter what , it starts to hurt my head most of the time. you always look so amazing everywhere , and your personality can just cast anyone to fall in love with you. i wouldnt even be surprised if you had lots and lots of letters in your locker yesterday. i'd also admit that you're my first love , no one else has ever made me feel this way. your just so different compared to others and i dont even know why. you're always so silly and i adore that part of you , but i adore every single part of you to be completely honest. and regardless of your silly personality , i notice that you like to cover your mouth when you smile or laugh , i dont understand why you do that ... you look so pretty when you smile ... i wish i can see it everyday. i have so much more to say but i know you hate reading so i tried to keep this as short as possible. i hope you like the bouquet and snacks , i love you."

( i know not everyone relates to this , but thats personally how i am lol )

"woah .." your jaw dropped as you finished reading the last sentence of the letter. who is this man ?!?!? you thought to yourself.

"lowkey that's kinda cringe buddy .."

"you just jealous of y/n hutao ~"

"shut the fuck up."

"i need to find this person asap ..." you said in a serius tone as you picked up the bouquet and the bag of snacks.

"how does this guy even know all my favorite snacks ..." you questioned as it seems like he knows you very well. was it one of your close friends ? you thought.

"i think it's xiao." guessed hutao confidently.

"theres no way ... xiao doesnt do this type of stuff ..." you responded , well you definitely wished that it was xiao but you were confident xiao would never write or give you something like this. ( no way omg !! )

"well who knows ... but to be honest it kinda sounds like xiao for some reason , he knows you very well right ?" yanfei does have a point but you still not sure , maybe you'll confront him later ...
