A/N: yes, I am perfectly fine, haha. I see quotes and pictures like this throughout this that describe things such as this, so I choose to write on them. Do I have anything against Kirstie? NOT AT ALL. That's my mom, y'all. She's the only girl so she fills in.
If you ever feel like this, please talk to me, okay?

There are so many things the people of today's society can say to get right into your head.
One day you can be the natural person you worked for, that you are happy with. That night, someone can spat a comment at you.. and all of the people that you thought were on your side, turned. Now you're all alone.. Well it feels just like that.
You slowly crumble down and sink into depression. You go from happy to.. Lost.
Those stupid, regretful comments people make that end up changing or even.. taking your life.

The young girl, Kirstin battled with life. Simply, life.
As a little girl she thought that life was nice, but when you grow up you start to open your eyes and see the reality. That life wasn't much of a meaning, that people are bad, and nobody could help her.
Kirstin felt as is she grew up too quickly. That time flew by.. And she started to miss the little things that made her happy. Like waking up at eight in the morning just to go play with her friends. Not caring what she looked like. Not worrying if that one boy liked her. Getting the chance to get dirty and come home and take a bubble bath. When there wasn't such a thing as a rumor. When getting in trouble only happened because she wouldn't share her crayons in the group of kids she sat with. When she had the chance to hold her moms hand. When she could do whatever she wanted and not be judged for it. Or when the only reasons she cried.. was because she got hurt or a family incident.
---
Kirstin started thinking that maybe she deserved to be sad, because sadness was the only thing she had been feeling and she didn't know how to change it.
Kirstin started thinking that maybe she deserved to be alone and that's why people always got tired of her and ended up leaving.
Kirstin started thinking that maybe she deserved the bloody wrists because it seemed to be the only solution she had to all of her problems.
Kirstin started thinking that maybe she deserved all the hate because it caused all the pain, and that's why she was where she is.
And maybe, just maybe, Kirstin thought she deserved to die, because it was always on her mind and people wouldn't care anyway.
---
All of those things she did to make everyone happy. Her parents, siblings, friends, and that boy.
Her parents put Kirstin in counseling to get her to speak, because she was too afraid of sharing those 'secrets' she kept.. because she was afraid of getting judged.
Kirstin's siblings always pushed her away, because they acted as if they were embarrassed by her around their friends.
Kirstin believed that she had friends. She loved them, made them happy, and did her best to impress them. Her theory on them ended up being, 'You think you know people.. And then they surprise you.'
---
"Kirst, come hangout with us!" Her friends would text her or tell her at school. Kirstin would smile, thinking she had a chance, but no, it was nothing.
"You silly little girl, thinking you were skinny enough." They would tell her.
"Silly little girl, thinking you you were pretty enough." They would tell her.
"Silly little girl, thinking you actually meant something." They would tell her..
Kirstin would go home, and pretend to be okay around her parents. Each time, her parents bought the bright smile but never looked through her and saw the glow of her eyes, slowly start to fade.
---
Kirstin's siblings were always out and about with the friends they had.. Because they fit in. Her parents believed her so they left her at home alone to go out and enjoy their happy lives.
Tonight was one of those nights when Kirstin wished that she was a little girl again so she could climb into her mothers lap until all the hurting went away.
Kirstin was left alone, still not over what her 'friends' had said to her. Just then, she received a text.. Not wanting to open it being that the name of one of her 'friends' popped up. But with being anxious, she did.
"Stupid little girl. Did you really think you were the only one he was making feel special?"
Kirstin wondered, Why did the shamelessly bring up a topic of a boy that she had feelings for? But she began to realize how much she didn't mean to the boy.
Perhaps the fact that she chased a person who ripped her to shreds said a lot more about her than it did about him.
Kirstin's eyes scanned it. Tears formed in her eyes and.. She then realized how broken she was. Her heart, her soul, her pride.. Her.. It was all gone.
She screamed and beat herself up, taking down anything in her way. She left bruises on herself from her own clenched fists. Her red, splotchy face from sobbing. Her whimpers and uneven breaths of her wondering if she wanted to cry some more or not.. And of course, she did.
She didn't stop either.
---
"Kirstin?!" She heard her mothers voice. "Are you okay?" Her mother rushed by her side. Kirstin was sprawled out on the living room floor. Her mother rolled her over to her back only to see that Kirstin's eyes were closed, but she was still breathing. "Honey, open your eyes." Kirstin heard the fear in her mothers voice.
All Kirstin was thinking of was her mom asking her.. 'Are you okay?' No.
Kirstin let her eyes open.
"What happened?" Kirstin's dad rushed in to see his wife and youngest daughter in tears, hugging one another.
Daddy, your little girl wants to kill herself. "I just feel really low.." Kirstin replied with instead.
Kirstin finally opened up and explained her meaning of why and how she felt low.
Kirstin's parents felt like they hadn't done their jobs as parents..
Kirstin's mother cradled Kirstin in her lap, running her fingers through her hair. "Honey, you are too young to hate the world so much." Her mom would whisper to her.
Kirstin didn't believe her. All she believed was what her peers told her, they knew more, right?
Kirstin saw herself in the mirror with mascara marks running down her cheeks as a poor, silly little girl waiting for her happy ending that wasn't going to come..
---
There was a little girl named Kirstin who lived life as best as she could've. She once was full of epitome and innocence.
Kirstin laughed and played and smiled a lot, but since that one night, that smile was no longer to be seen.
Years went by, and that little girl Kirstin was, got older. She changed from that happy girl she used to be.
She slowly destroyed herself from the inside to the out
And all she had left..
was a letter that said 'help me.'Too late.
