This is written well, and it's a summed up version. My mom got pregnant with me when she was seventeen, and this was like a broke down, shortened version of the story of how everything went. I got bored, and fit Kirstie as a character into it. So yeah, true story, different characters filling in. (:

"I'm sorry, mom! This wasn't supposed to happen!" Kirstin sobbed.

"Stop the tears!" Kirstin's mom grabbed her chin roughly, forcing their eye contact. "I thought I raised you better. You know what this is? It's sin, Kirstin! You are seventeen years old, you are no where near ready to be a mother!"

"I never said I was.." Kirstin whispered.

"Get out of my house." Kirstin's mom threw Kirstin's head to the side, letting go of her grip as she did so.

"Mom.. No.. Please... I'm so sorry." Kirstin whispered.

"There is no sorry for this. You were supposed to be my perfect little girl, but then you waste it all away like this. You are not fit to be a mother. You are not ready. You are not ready to be the mother that child needs. You are not ready for the amounts of attention and support go into having a child. And the money. Kirstin, you are not ready. You can't do this." Her mother told her.

"Fine. You know what? Fine. I'll leave. Don't call me if you miss me. I will show you that I can handle this. That I am ready to be a mother. You think I wanted this?" Kirstin asked. "You really think I asked for this?!" She yelled.

"A junior in high school that wasted her life away.. all because of a boy that told her he loved her." Kirstin's mom glared at her. "He lied, Kirstin. He does not love you. He used you. Once he finds out this result, he will be gone."

"I guess we'll see, won't we?" Kirstin ran upstairs, packing as many clothes as she could fit in a suit case. Kirstin looked at her mom one more time, who seemed to be lost.

She grabbed her keys and headed out the door, not looking back that time.

-

"You were right." Kirstin whispered.

"Kirstin?"

"Yes, mom." Kirstin sighed. "It's me."

"Oh my god, my baby." Kirstin could hear the tears building up due to her mothers weakness of voice. "How are you? Where are you?"

"Mom," Kirstin giggled, "It's only been five months."

"I know." Her mom whispered. "I miss you."

Kirstin wiped the tear away that streamed down her cheek. "I miss you too."

"Come home.. Please.."

"I'll be there in a sec." Kirstin whispered, hanging up the phone without a goodbye.

-

"Oh, honey.." Kirstin's mother was waiting for her. Kirstin rushed into her home, pushing herself into her mothers arms, clenching onto her shirt.

"I'm so sorry.." Kirstin whispered, letting the tears fall this time.

"It's okay, baby.. It's okay.." Kirstin's mom whispered, running her fingers through Kirstin's hair.

"You were right.. He left." Kirstin said, letting go to look at her mother.

"No good boy." Kirstin's mother smiled, wiping away the tears from her daughters face. "You're too good for them."

"I didn't want to leave you. I didn't want live on my own. It was so hard.." Kirstin hugged herself, looking down, keeping in the sobs.

"I shouldn't have let you go." Kirstin's mom cupped her face. "I'm sorry for treating you in the way I did. I should've coped. I should've been a better momma to you. I should've understood. I should've never had told you to leave. This is your home, sweetheart."

"I love you." Kirstin said, walking back in as her mother opened her arms for another hug.

"I love you.. More than you know." They sat in that hug for a moment, enjoying the embrace of one another, they never knew they could've missed each other that much.

"Kirstin?"

"Yes, mom?" Kirstin's eyes met with her moms.

You're going to be such a beautiful mother."
