A storm..
Thunder..
Roars-
And lightning.. so much lightning..
Daenys turned around to face a shadow lurking above the water she was swimming in. Soft screaming filled her ears as she heard the roars of a dragon. She turned around in the water once more. It suddenly felt so peaceful. She felt so at peace.
The roar of the dragon sounded strangely familiar to her. Yet she had been sure she had never heard such an low and trembling roar before. Then another wave crashed upon the surface above her, making her glance up as she sank further down, somehow unable to get herself to move. A figure fell into the waves, slowly sinking beneath them. She could hear a woman scream out in anger as fire erupted above the dark sea.
But still, beside from new upcoming fear she felt as she could not move, Daenys felt so peaceful. She didn't even flinch as she watched what seemed to be a young boy sink down past her. He too looked familiar. With his black hair waving back and forward. His eyes however were closed. He looked peaceful.
Daenys slowly reached out to the boy, now understanding she was dreaming again. Her hand touching his face as he passed her, sinking down. Daenys watched the boy, trying to memorize what he looked like. Suddenly she found him looking straight at her, his brown chocolate eyes giving her a peaceful expression. "Who are you?" Is what she wanted to ask him. But she could not find words to utter. Her lungs felt strangely tight.
"Tell mother i'm sorry" The boy seemed to mouth. Daenys frowned her eyes as she tried to reach out to him once more. But the boy shook his head slightly. "Wake up, Daenys" he breathed. "You need to wake up Daenys"
"Wake up..Daenys!"
"No! Wait!" A shriek left her lips as she felt two strong arms grab her abdomen. Someone swam next to her. Someone pulled her up. She ended up coughing up water the second they breached the surface. She had not known she'd been breathing it in.
