I Need You (Jai Brooks)

Chapter 7

Sorry for the realllllly late update. I've had 6 exams this week so I've been revising constantly. They'll be lots of chapters up this week :)

I woke up to the sun shining in through the blinds into my face. Normally I would want to stay in bed and sleep but today I jumped out straight away.

I went into the bathroom and got into a black and white stripey bikini and over it I out on an old holister t-shirt and some board shorts.

I tied my hair in a high pony and put come sun cream on. I couldn't be bothered waiting for the boys to wake up so I wrote them a letter saying that id gone down to the restaurant for breakfast and I'll either meet them down there or back at the room.

When I got to the eating place, the variety of food was to die for. There were bread rolls, tropical fruits, cereals, toast and toppings. Breakfast heaven basically! I chose a fruit salad which looked delicious. I severed myself a bowl and went to the outside seating area just by the pool.

The sun was really warm and relaxing. I could tell I was going to get an amazing tan from this holiday!

"Hey" Jai said sitting next to me. "The others are still fast asleep"

"Hi they're all lazy bones!" I laughed awkwardly.

"How are you this morning?" He asked breaking the silence.

"I'm good thanks" I replied.

"Listen. About last night obviously we shared some feelings" he said.

"Yep. Big feelings" I replied finishing my fruit.

"I really love you Katie. But what if Daniel or any of the boys finds out?" He said concerned.

"I know. Maybe it was a mistake. I'm really sorry about everything that happened" I replied.

"I'm not going to stop loving you. But maybe we should hide our feelings just for the sake of Daniel?" He suggested.

"Yes ok it'll be difficult but I'll try" I replied forcing my tears to stay in.

"I'm uh going to get some food. Be back in a minute" jai said standing up.

"Ok" I said quietly.

Once he'd left a tear dropped into my lap. I knew it wouldn't ever work but I though there might've been a chance.

Once again, I pushed my thoughts about jai out of my head so I could enjoy this holiday.

When he came back to where I was sitting, he was also with Beau which was a relief because it wouldn't be as awkward.

"Morning. You're up early!" Beau said sitting down opposite me.

"Beau, it's 10.30. That's not early!" I laughed.

"Wow. Angry bird!" He laughed.

I rolled my eyes at him. I then took my bowl back into the building and put it on a rack thingy.

After, I went upstairs to grab my book and iPod so I could relax by the pool. My current book I was reading was called 'to all the boys I've loved before' an amazing book just saying. You should read it. So I picked it up and went outside.

The main poolside was very busy with little kids, so I went to the smaller pool which was mainly being used by older people.

I put my towel out on a lounger and lied down. The sun was so warm, I could definitely move here! I was about to plug my iPod in but the sun was making me sweat buckets, so I went for a dip in the pool.
