I Need You (Jai Brooks)

Chapter 3

Jai's P.O.V

I left Katie's room and walked back to the room Luke and I were staying in. I didn't put the top on straight away because I was boiling.

I sat on my bed and decided to do a little follow spree to make some people happy! After about half an hour of following people I decided to go to sleep.

I grabbed the top and unfolded it and put it on. When I unfolded the top, I noticed a piece of paper fall out of it onto the floor.

I opened it up and it looked like a diary entry.

Dear diary.
I don't know how long I can keep my feeling in. It's driving me insane. I've only know him for a few months but he's been on my mind since. I wish I had someone I could talk to him about but I don't. I've fallen in love with Jai brooks and I don't know what to do

Wait. She loves me? This is going to change everything.

Katie's P.O.V

I kept thinking of how Jai was telling me about this girl he likes. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Just the thought of him with another girl made me want to hide away forever.

Before long I had tears streaming down my face. I really don't know what to do about my feelings for Jai. Because of my crying my nose became all blocked. I sniffed to try and unblock it. I realised I probably sniffed a bit too loud!

There was a soft knock on my door and then it opened a bit for me to see Jai.

"Are you ok? I heard you sniffling when I was walking past" he said.

"I'm fine" I replied wiping away my tears.

"No your not! You're crying. What's up?" He asked sitting in the end of my bed.

"It's nothing I promise" I replied. I couldn't exactly tell him!

"Katieeeeee I know there's something wrong! You can trust me!" He said.

I didn't reply, I just shook my head.

"Do you want a little cuddle then?" He offered.

I felt my eyes welling up again and I have him a small nod. He got up and shut my door and then he came and lied down next to me. I rested my head on his bare chest and he put his arm around my shoulders.

"Thank you" I said. Shutting my eyes.

"It's ok" he replied.

I felt him start playing with my hair which made me really sleepy. Before I knew it I was fast asleep.

~~next morning~~

I woke up still cuddled into Jai. Except we were properly cuddling now!

"Jai. Jai" I said quietly trying to wake him up.

He groaned and I saw his eyes start to open.

"The boys are going to see you in here" I said.

His eyes then shot open. "Shit!" He said getting up quickly. "I'll go downstairs and say I was making breakfast" he said putting his top on.

"Ok see you later" I replied giggling.

I decided to get up myself and have a quick shower. As usual I washed a conditioned my hair and washed my body. When I hopped out I dried my hair and put it into two French plaits.

Today I couldn't really be bothered to dress nicely. So I put in some black leggings and a dark green cropped sweater.

I couldn't even be bothered with makeup! So I put on some concealer and mascara.

After, I made my way downstairs to Jai cooking pancakes.

"Mmmmm they smell amazing!" I said sitting on a bar stool.

"They're nearly ready. Agree not to tell anyone about last night?" He asked.

"Yep. Daniel would murder me if he found out!" I laughed.

"BREAKFAST IS SERVEDDDD" Jai shouted in and opera voice.

Within two minutes all of the boys were downstairs scoffing their faces with pancakes.

"Wow Jai you're amazing at cooking!" James said surprised.

"And why are you so surprised?" He replied.

"No offence Jai you look like you'd suck at cooking" Daniel said.

"Ah thanks you're all really nice friends!" He laughed.

Once I had finished, I ran upstairs so I could be first to use the biggest bathroom. I brushed my teeth and touched up my makeup.

Before I knew it, it was time for school! We all walked together talking about random stuff.

Because I realised it would be quite repetitive. I've decided to skip the school day just for this week :)

Finally we were all home. Today was actually really tiring.

"I fancy going out tonight. Shall we go to the beach until it's dark. We can eat and play there and stuff?" Luke suggested.

"Yeh that'd be awesome!" We all agreed.

We all got ready our beach bags and then beau drove us to the beach. I also changed into some light blue comfy material shorts and a white semi cropped loose t-shirt. When we arrived, we out out all of our towels and then we went and got some ice creams.

I chose an actual ice cream but the boys all had ice lollies. We took them back to our towels and ate them. One we have finished, we got out a beach ball and just kicked it around.

It was hilarious each time it came to me because I always missed it when I tried to kick it! I couldn't even catch it most of the time!

Before we knew it, the sun started to set. We all went for a dip in the sea. I'd put a bikini on under my shorts and top I took them off so I could go properly swimming.

At around 7pm we went to a fish and chip shop on the boardwalk. We got a large portion of chips (fries) each. I loaded mine with salt and vinegar because I can't stand child with hardly any salt and vinegar on!

Once we'd all finished, we started to pack up. I loved being on the beach! I wish we could come here more often, especially with these really warm summer evenings!

When we got home, we starting looking up hotels for our week away. We wanted it to be amazing so we were looking at hotels in la. My mum and John weren't in LA so they wouldn't see us!

We found a 5 star hotel with an amazing pool! We booked it using John money he probably won't notice!

That was settled! We were leaving 3 days before my birthday so we'd be away for it! Exciting!

I went up to my room and relaxed on my laptop for a bit and then I decided to have an early night because I was up really late last night.

I got changed into my pjs, washed my face and clean my teeth. Then I climbed into bed and watched two episodes of pretty little liars on Netflix. By the time the second one had finished I was ready to go to sleep. So I tuned my laptop off and then went to sleep.

I might make my chapters more this length now. I was originally trying to make them at least 2000 words but I didn't want to story to finish quickly so now I'm making them around 1500 :)
