THE GREAT PRETENDER

I can be a loyal friend
But never expect that I'm honest
Especially how I felt
In every single day

I'm always pretending
Like an actor on stage
Wearing a smile
Hiding my misery

Throughout the years
A brightest smile is what I know
Even I was broken inside
I can only laugh it off

I'm sorry for being a liar
For I am afraid to show
To be pathetic and vulnerable
In front of the audience
