After school, Peter, Archie, Miles, Steve, Allison and Betty do their evening patrol.
"You think we're gonna come across the cat burglar again?" Miles asks, scanning the city.
"Dude, why the hell do you keep bringing her up?" Steve asks, running and jumping across buildings.
"Because he clearly likes her." Archie answers.
"Finally someone agrees." Peter says, swinging alongside his redhead friend.
"I do not!" Miles denies, as Betty lands next to him.
"Who are we talking about again?" Allison intervenes.
"Nobody important." Miles answers quickly.
"Dude, aren't you with Marie?" Archie asks. We kind of broke up a few weeks ago. We're still friends..."
"You guys seeing anything?" Peter questions.
"Nothing so far." Betty answers.
"Alright, let's keep looking!" Peter says, continuing his swing.
In the streets, Francine pushes her way through a thick crowd of people.
"Jesus fucking Christ, is it always this crowded?" Francine mumbled, as she crossed the street. On her way across the street, Francine trips over her shoe strings and fell, dropping all of her bags in the process.
"Of course I trip over my laces and drop all of my shit." Francine says to herself, picking up her bags. A truck started speeding up in her direction. Francine sees the truck, and starts picking up her. Right when the truck was about to hit her, Peter swings and takes her to the sidewalk.
"You alright?" Peter asks, picking up her bags and handing them to her.
"You're Spider-Man..." Francine utters, staring at the hero with a shocked expression.
"And, you almost got hit. You gotta be careful when you're crossing the streets."
"Right. Of course. I-I just didn't expect the truck to be coming at me full speed."
"Yeah, some people just aren't a fan of traffic rules. Anyway, you be safe out here, and see you around." Peter calls out, swinging away. Francine looks up at him.
"He noticed me." She thought to herself, continuing her walk home.

At the Frye Residence, Francine enters her home, to see her mom passed out on the couch, with beer bottles in front of her. She cringes at the sight of them and heads to her room. Once she gets there, she shuts the door and turn on the lights. Newspapers of various villains Spider-Man have fought are shown strung across the walls.
