the warrior code is a list of fifteen different rules that should be followed by all clans, and was introduced after the founding leaders took their names and nine lives. it's taught from the first moons of kithood, to when an elder is faced with death. it is said that as long as the clans follow the code, no harm shall come to them.
breaking the rules can come with consequences in the form of punishment. they could be anything as simple as scolding a cat, and giving them unpleasant duties or tasks to fulfil.
breaking the code can also result a cat being stripped of their duties and ranking, and then forced into the life of a normal clan cat. in severe cases, a cat may be exiled,
there are some cases in which their is punishment after death, and are then sent to the place of no starts after dying. only the cruelest of cruel cats get sent here.

𝘖𝘕𝘌 ━━defend your clan, even with your life. you may have friendships with cats from other clans, but your loyalty must remain with your clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
𝘛𝘞𝘖 ━━do not hunt of trespass on another clans territory.
𝘛𝘏𝘙𝘌𝘌 ━━elders, queens, kits and sick or injured cats must eat before apprentices and warriors. unless they have permission, an apprentice cannot eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
