not adorned by dense forestry or engulfing
foliage, this place consists of an enormous embankment, its terrain predominantly sandy
and coarse, mirroring an untamed beach that
feels misplaced within the endless greens that
the forest is known for. this huge swath of soft golden grains meets the glittering azure surface
of the lake in a meandering line, allowing a
great expanse of sparkling water to ripple onto
the shoreline. here, where the two elements
coexist, one might often notice small clusters of rocks and pebbles glistening in the gentle sun ,

steeply angled and carved from the years of elemental influences, the slope of this sandy embankment offers a slightly perilous yet mesmerising vantage point over the lake.

the sandy side serves as a prized hunting
ground, as it is frequently visited by various
forms of lake—dwelling prey, whose presence
often stirs the predator instincts within the
residing felines. from the unseen minnows
gliding through the crisp lake waters to the
scuttling crustaceans camouflaged amongst
the rocky alcoves, the hunting is bountiful ,

vegetation is relatively scarce here, save for occasional clumps of tough reeds that
resiliently puncture the sandy ground and
patches of unyielding grasses near the embankment's peak. the ever—resilient heather
adds bursts of muted colour amidst the
neutral hues, surviving and even thriving
in this barren outpost of sand and water ,
