the divide stands as a border between both thunderclan and windclan: a churning river. a cleft carved by nature, which slashes through the middle of the two territories with an unruly assertion. even though the streams may look soft and gentle at times, one cannot underestimate the raging undercurrent below ,
there is something bewitchingly feral about the divide. the restless dance of the water, snaking and hissing against the shoreline, warns the brave and foolhardy not to underestimate its power. the frothing turbulence of its waters with unpredictable depths discourages many from risking even a single paw in it. these are no common brooks; their hidden danger instills in the hearts of every feline an unspoken fear of the power it withholds ,
across the girth of the water is a scattered array of large, grey boulders — stepping stones poised amid the rushing current. those with a touch of bravery or need could carefully pick their path from one stone to the next, can perilously inch across the river. the faint of hearted would feel the bite of fear in their paws at the first sight of this churning pathway.
nevertheless, this treacherous path across is often a cat's only option to venture into the opposite territory. beyond its chaotic surface, the divide embodies a poignant symbolism; it serves as a metaphorical line drawn in the floor ,
