"Being the winning song of Eurovision 2009, Alexander Rybak debuts as the representative of Norway. Based on a true story, the song is called..."
"Fairytales."

There wasn't much happening in Megapolis City.
The sun was only beginning to rise, slight gusts of wind accompanied the carnelian clouds, and only a few people were awake to watch the view.
Everything seemed peaceful.
But Gibby's intuition argued otherwise.
...
So that brings us to the both of you.
Perched on top of the Anti-Gravity Arcade, you scanned the city skyline, shadows of buildings casting down as they glittered from the amber light of dawn. You reached to your ear. One of the extras that you bought from the demon market.
A pair of earpieces, disguised as clip-on earrings with black and white knight chess pieces attached.
"Lazuli to Emerald. Lazuli to Emerald, over?"
"Over, Laz." Mei responded back with a face ready for danger, and hands holding the dragon blade. She stood on the roof of a shoe store, the same one that DBK broke into from before. She watched where she treaded, given the fact that there's still some unfinished repairs. "Some action is just what I need before the race!"
"Alright. Lazuli to Heliodor. Lazuli to Heliodor, over?"
"Over." It was MK's turn to respond. On top of the bowling alley, he clutched the staff on hand. The gusts of wind flew through his hair and the ends of his bandana, mimicking the phoenix feathers of his mentor. "You know Bell, I gotta say, the gemstone codenames are great! I still wished we chose the gems with longer codenames, since long codenames were originally the pla-"
"The point of codenames is that it's short, easy to use, and it doesn't compromise our identities, Heliodor." You sighed, unfazed despite him using your name instead of your codename. This definitely wasn't the first time he suggested this. "We...already talked about this."
"...Okay, but can I know who the other guy is?-"
"No."
Mei laughed into your earpieces, taking in the view of the city while the two of you talked. "C'mon Helio. You do want Laz to let 'cha come along for the camping trips, right?"
"Aww, finnneeeee." MK groaned.
You rolled your eyes, much to the confusion of the gibbon beside you, who was pretty much enjoying the wind flowing through her mane until now. Her curious eyes looked at you as you got back to the task at hand, checking on one last player.
"Lazuli to Cinnabar. Lazuli to Cinnabar. Over?"
"Over."
With you, MK, and Mei surrounding the area from above, Red Son had his bull clones did the same on the ground. Responding with a filtered voice, he dawned his glamour, passing off as just another citizen who stood beside a Cheese Tea stall.
"I've added the modifications you asked for." He added, hair free from his usual ponytail, glamored to an obsidian black hue, not unlike his mother's. "This better not be a waste of my time."
"Trust me, it won't." You assured him with a lazy smile. You surveyed the area below you, shops only starting to open, while more and more people start to wake, getting up earlier as to not get caught in the traffic.
With flutes slung on your back, and your hoverboard beside you on the ground, you turned to Gibby, who was perched on the glass railing.
"How many more minutes 'til the attack happens?"
