I do not own Transformers Prime or any of the characters associated with the property, I only claim ownership of my character which I have made myself.

Miko sat in the classroom, slumped over her desk. Detention, again! How she hated detention, and all because she didn't hand in some homework, who cared?! Nobody did, and yet here she was. She didn't care about history, she was making it with the 'Bots as she sat there. She knew Raf and Jack were having fun with their guardians, so why couldn't she? Feeling truly defeated, she lauded her head down on the desk and sighed, "Detention."

However, luck was on her side as she raised her head after hearing the sound of tires pulling up to school. Big tires. As she looked to her right, out of the window, she saw the familiar sight of Bulkhead's huge SUV alt-mode.

She looked at the teacher. He was busy reading a newspaper. He wouldn't see or hear her.

She quietly got up, snuck past the teacher, and then sprinted out of the school and over to Bulkhead. She opened the door and got in to hear one of her favourite heavy metal songs being played by the Wrecker.

"I love this song!", she yelled as she started doing guitar playing movements and throwing her head back and forth, "Yeah!"

However, Bulkhead turned off the music when he saw her, "Miko, I thought you had a history report to do. Did detention end early?", asked the Autobot guardian. He arrived early, not on time, yet here she was.

"Did for me.", brushed off the teenager, who looked out of the window to see the teacher walking towards the vehicle, "Here comes teacher, and he doesn't look happy. Step on it, Bulkhead!"

"Ah, Miko.", complained the Wrecker, before peeling his tires on the tarmac and speeding off towards base, the teacher yelling and trying to run after them.

Little did the teacher know, that everyone else in detention had just taken the opportunity to leave, and he didn't even know.

As Bulkhead and Miko started pulling up to the Autobot base, Bulkhead began his lecture, although he was never one for talking, only action. "Miko, I'm supposed to be your guardian, not your getaway car. You can't just cut detention. What I'd your parents found out?"

"They live in Tokyo, remember?", she countered, "And don't even worry about my host parents. I think I scare them.", she added a snicker at the end of her comment.

Bulkhead didn't know how to continue from there, this was Optimus' job. "Miko, listen...   If you fail high school, you can't go to...   Uh, Uni-   Uh, it's 'keys'-   Uh, 'codge',-   Wait, wait. W-what's that word again?"

"Uh, 'college'? Ugh. You sound just like my parents.", grumbled the young girl.

"Well, aren't they Japanese?", asked Bulkhead.

"They may speak a different language, but you say the same things.", she reiterated.

"Because we want the best for you.", stated Bulkhead, his tone firm to show that he meant every word of it. "And that means making sure you go to school, not jail."

Bulkhead slowed to a halt, them now being inside the base. Miko got out as Bulkhead transformed and looked down at her with a stern face, whisk them she had a grumpy one.

Oliver walked into the room, and looked at them both, "Uh-oh. What'd you do?", he asked, looking more at Miko than Bulkhead.

They both just ignored him, and continued their conversation, "Look, Miko, before I became a warrior, I was a labourer-   Construction. I can build stuff. I can break stuff. And that's it."
