I do not own Transformers Prime or any of the characters associated with the property, I only claim ownership of my character which I have made myself.

It had been a week and two days since me, Jack and Arcee had our little run-in with Airachnid. After that traumatic experience we would not soon forget, my injuries were healed thanks to the expertise of Ratchet, and Arcee was scolded by Optimus for her reckless behaviour on the mission. Me and Jack were commended for our bravery, but unfortunately Optimus was now far more reluctant to let me go out on a mission. Something which I was desperate to go on again.
Since I wasn't allowed on missions, I continued to train with Arcee, who had been helping me figure out my invisibility cloak, or my transparent light deflectors as Ratchet called them. We had been practicing more stealth techniques, as well as trying to figure out what other hidden abilities I had. We had had no success yet, but I knew that there was more Primus had hidden from me, I just needed to be patience and wait for it to reveal itself.
Currently, everyone was in the main room, doing various activities. The kids were playing video games whilst Bulkhead and Bumblebee watched. Ratchet was working on his console like he always did. And Optimus, Arcee and myself were currently talking. Or rather, me and Arcee were trying to get Optimus to let me go on a mission again.
"Optimus, with all due respect, it was my fault.", spoke Arcee, sounding genuine with every word she spoke, "Octavius did the best he could in the situation, and he followed protocol. I'm the one who made the mistake, I should be the one suspended from going on any missions, not him."
Optimus was silent for a moment, before responding, "Whilst you are correct, Arcee. The fact of the matter remains, Octavius was severely outmatched against a deadly opponent. And whilst Airachnid isn't weak by any means, she is far from the most powerful Decepticon. If Octavius is to survive in this world, he must be more prepared for next time."
Now it was my turn to cut in, "Optimus, I understand that. Really, I do. But when someone gets a job, the ones with more experience are more likely to get hired then the one with more knowledge. In the military, you are deemed wiser for your experience and the medals you have rather than your intelligence and knowledge of protocol. If I'm to become more prepared for next time, I have to get hurt, I have to learn. You holding me back won't prepare me for 'next time', it will leave me with no understanding on her to handle the situation."
Before Optimus could respond, Ratchet called the Autobot leader over, "Optimus, you're not going to believe this."
Optimus looked at us both, "We will continue this conversation later.", then he walked up behind Ratchet, with everyone else in the base doing the same thing.
"I've just pinpointed the location of the Decepticon warship.", explained the doctor. To say everyone was shocked and excited by this news was a gross understatement.
"How did you penetrate their cloaking technology?", asked the Prime.
"I didn't.", responded Ratchet bluntly, as he began to explain further, "I was experimenting the variable frequency wavelengths when I stumbled upon it. Even still, their ship must be experiencing some kind of electromagnetic breach."
"With Megatron deceased and the element of surprise...", began Arcee, lightly slamming her fist against her palm.
"We could cause some serious damage.", finished Bulkhead.
"Also on the same frequency...", continued Ratchet as he typed some commands into the scanner, revealing another icon of the map, "An Autobot emergency beacon."
