Chapter 1

~Rin~

I stood next to Kuroyuri, as we stood in line, in front of my Father. Kuroyuri had pink hair that was in a braid, that ran down his back. He also wore a black skull clip, holding back some of his bangs. His dark pink eyes stared forward. Right next to me, was Konatsu Warren. He had blonde hair and brown eyes. He is also Lieutenant Hyuuga's Begleiter. A Begleiter is a solider who do things for a higher up. If the higher up trusts them, the Begleiter will slowly raise in rank. A man with black hair wearing sun glasses, stood behind a man with white hair and purple eyes. The black haired man was Hyuuga, my Father's best friend. He told me they met when they were kids. The man with the white hair and purple eyes is my Father, and leader of the Black Hawks, Ayanami.

"I called you all here for an important announcement," Ayanami said, quietly, but sternly.

He slowly started walking in front of us, adding in some tension. I stiffened, as he slowly walked closer to me. Suddenly he stopped in front of me. I slowly looked up into his purple orbs. He stared down at me. He turned and walked away, after a few minutes.

"I am retiring......," He said quickly, his back facing us.

"RETIRING?!"

The tension suddenly lifted,as we all stared in shock at our leader.

"What do you mean retiring?!" Konatsu yelled.

"It's time for someone else to take lead......," Ayanami answered.

He looked over at me. I flinched, knowing exactly what was going to happen next.

"Rin is going to be the next leader."
