Chapter 6

~Kuroyuri~

"So Rin....Where are we going to find this exam place."

She grabbed the yellow piece of paper and flipped it over.

"There's a map here.....I guess we just follow it"

"Ok~!"

"Wow! Look at all the people!"

"Rin, be careful!"

I grabbed her with my right, and pulled her back into the seat. I placed my hand back onto the stirring wheel.

"Geez! You're too reckless!"

"Says the one who ran into a burning building," I heard her mutter.

"First of all, I fell from the roof, and into the building. Second if I didn't, you would be dead."

I heard her sigh. I looked at her, from the corner of my eye. She was staring down at the city, that was filled with people. I looked forward again.

"Rin, what does the map say?"

"Oh right!"

She looked down at the map.

"It says to land at a large tree."

She looked around and suddenly pointed at something.

"There it is!"

"Alright!"

I turned the cruiser to the right, and headed towards a large tree.

I landed in front of a small log cabin.

"Why do you think the map lead us here?" I asked, Rin as we both hopped off the cruiser.

"Who knows...."

"Oi! You two!"

"Hm?"

We both turned to see three boys. The tallest one had spiky black hair, and glasses. He also held a black brief case with a red pattern on it. The second tallest had a weird blue tunic, with orange patterns on it. He also had blonde hair and grey eyes. The shortest one had spiky greenish black hair, and brown eyes. He wore a backpack, and a silver fishing pole.

"How did you two get here? We've never saw you two at the docs, or at the village," The shortest boy asked.

"That's because we followed a map," Rin answered, holding up the yellow paper.

"WHAT?!?!?!!! THAT'S NOT FAR!!!!" The man with the brief case screamed.

"Calm down Leorio!" The blonde hair boy yelled.

"What are your names?" The shortest boy asked us, as the other two boys bickered.

"My name is Kuroyuri! And this is my best friend, Rin!"

She waved at the boy and smiled.

"It's nice to meet you!"

The boy flashed us a huge smile.

"My name is Gon! And the boy with blonde hair is Kurapika, and the boy with black hair is Leorio!"

We both looked at them. They were still bickering over something. Suddenly we heard a scream. We all rushed in to see glass all over the floor. The furniture was tossed all over the place. A man with blood running down his arm, was laying down in front of a yellow beast, with red glowing eyes.

"It's Kiriko! They're extremely intelligent magical creatures! They take the forms of Human creatures so be careful!" Kurapika yelled.

"Human forms huh.....?"

The creature turned around and looked at us. In his arms was a women with black markings on her face, with pink hair.

"The creature has a woman!"

"The man on the floor needs help also!" Leorio muttered.

Suddenly the Kiriko jumped out the window, with the woman still in his arms. Rin and I didn't heistate.

"Rin, heal the man on the floor! I'm going after the Kiriko!" I yelled, as I jumped out the window.

"Hai!"

"Kuroyuri, wait for me!" I heard Gon yell after me.

"Leorio, help Rin!" Kurapika yelled.

"I'm already on it!"

I jumped from tree branch, to tree branch following the creature, with Gon right behind me, and Kurapika following on the ground. But for some reason, I had a very bad feeling in my stomach, about leaving Rin. I never left her side during a mission....

"She'll be fine....," I thought. "This is more important."
