Chapter 9: Between the desert and the sea

After lunch, Piers and Seikatsu took a coffee to wake up even more, and he thanked her for having been with him at the Astronomic Center:"I was already dead by myself, so if Steven would had talked about stones, I'd fallen on the ground, faint."-"Of course, cause telling me that I'm short is way more interesting, apparently."-"Indeed it is." Piers said, smiling and sipping his coffee, meanwhile Seikatsu glanced at him, or at least she tried:"Tsk, you just really want to be thrown into the orbit and meeting Rayquaza? If you wanna see it, you can just ask me, and I'll bring you to the Sky Pillar and call it. It isn't necessary a punch in the face."-"I doubt that you'd ruin my face." Seikatsu sighed:"Fine, I'll just throw you away, so I won't damage nothing of you." Piers laughed:"Why's your height so sensitive as a topic? I mean, ya seem fitting the standard height." Seikatsu observed the coffee, making the spoon spinning, although there wasn't any sugar or milk to mix in it:"Since I was a kid, I've been underrated. Maybe they were referring to my age rather than to my height, maybe it's me who misunderstood, but I've always got angry and my reaction triggered fear, so I've kept acting this way." Piers nodded:"Yeah, I can get it. I've done the same: I've always looked apparently grumpy, 'cause if ya shy in Galar journalists are gonna eatin' ya alive." Seikatsu saw that Piers was giggling:"If you're thinking about bringing me to Galar, so I can make them exploding, just know that I agree." Piers smiled and lent her a hand, which Seikatsu grabbed with her free one:"Deal. It wouldn't be a bad idea. Also, are we gonna sleep, or we're still gonna wonderin' around? I think that if Marnie had heard the first option, she would yell at me for at least thirty minutes in a row." Seikatsu and Piers were still holding hands, without paying attention to it so much: or at least Piers noticed that, but didn't say anything. Seikatsu was immerged into thinking:"Mmmh... If you want, we can get buried by sand after having found the cave with the Sealed Chamber, so during the trip into the desert, we can visit Regirock." Piers jumped:"Regirock? We've got Regieleki and Regidrago in Galar. I've heard about Regirock, Registeel and Regice, and about Regigigas, of course. But I've never been lucky to see one of them."-"Today's your lucky day. We'll see Regirock." Piers smiled, then Seikatsu retired her hand, realising that they held hands for the entire time. Latios and Latias, both invisible, noticed that and they were happy that the two Trainers were getting close to each other gradually.

In the meantime, Marnie went to buy the box of Poké Puffs that Seikatsu had asked her to buy, then she had to give it to Latios. Obviously Seikatsu had given her money, and as it wasn't enough, Marnie had the entire gang of Pokémon with her: two Pokémon of hers and three of Seikatsu which were far way worse than kids, but they behaved good because for sweets they were willed to sell their souls, except for Banette which was just a soul, so he used to say that he would had sold himself directly. The girl was thoughtful, so Banette exclaimed:"What's going on in this little head?" Marnie jumped:"Uh? Nothin', nothin'." Banette sighed:"Please, don't be Seika. What, you're feeling third-wheel?" Marnie looked at him surprised:"How do you know it?"-"Eh eh eh! You kids don't have secrets for me. For your information, I'm almost 130 years old, I've seen so many kiddos, among boys and girls, and I've raised them up. The most absurd is Seika, although it doesn't take too much for her to be absurd." Marnie nodded:"I feel a bit cut out: also, my bro wasn't even interested in Seika at all!" Banette raised an eye-brow:"I doubt that. He seems to me someone who hides his own emotions." Marnie nodded:"Yeah, he's a bit this way. But I didn't know she was his fan."-"Her bedroom's got a wall full of posters of Piers, then she's got every album of his and a shirt about him. She's not that crazy, but yes, she likes him a lot. Come on, don't feel down! Maybe you'll find someone one day too!" Marnie smiled and petted Banette on his head, and the Marionette Pokémon hugged her.

After the Pokémon had eaten sweets, Seikatsu and Piers hoped that caffeine would take on and that they didn't need to inject it in their veins:"Pie, that's the good time you're gonna get druged like the most famous rockstars."-"I'm not into it, I've also stopped smokin'. But really, it wouldn't be a bad idea, at the moment it sounds good." Piers had smoked meanwhile Marnie was far away from him, telling Seikatsu that he had to keep it as a secret to his sister, asking Seikatsu to play his game. Seikatsu was fine with it, as she didn't care about Piers smoking, as long as it wasn't something exaggerated. Once the Pokémon were done with eating, Banette told Seikatsu what Marnie was going through, so Seikatsu decided to make flying the two sibglings together on Mega Latias until Pacifidlog Town, meanwhile she flew on Mega Latios with her Pokémon. But Seikatsu on her own flew recklessly, falling down in the void for being caught up immediately after by Latios, meanwhile Banette and Zoroark were screaming and cursing her, Morgrem was having fun instead and even Latios was by hearing the two swearing. They reached Pacifidlog Town, which they visited briefly, then they went to change: they wore very light clothes, almost swimming costumes, then they went toward the water:"Guys, we're gonna having fun with the flows of the sea to go to the Sealed Chamber!" Seikatsu exclaimed, as she was awaken for the moment, meanwhile Piers and Marnie were a bit scared but excited too, then Seikatsu whistled and they waited for few seconds, then from the water emerged a cromatic Milotic, the same from the picture of Beauty Contest, beside Froslass. Milotic was really happy to see Seikatsu, and she revealed to be really outgoing and lovely:"Wow, she's like Nessa's one, but her colours are different!" Marnie exclaimed, meanwhile Piers commented:"She's better than Nessa's one anyways." He received a pat on his shoulder from Banette:"Good Pie, mean as we like, eh eh eh!" Piers ignored him, meanwhile Seikatsu jumped on Milotic:"Come on, get on!" Marnie and Piers followed her, and Milotic swam fastly, jumping high at various meters of heights, becoming a sort of carousel, making everybody's heart beating. Zoroark, Morgrem, and Banette were riding Sharpedo instead, meanwhile Morpeko and Poochyena were into Zoroark's fur.
