Those little arseholes! So get this, I wake up and head off to the sheds to prepare for another day of "excitement" and hear we're doing the usual, however, I then hear that we're expected to triple head a long goods train with Murdoch. Apparently, it's a majority of the supplies and could really help get the most of this work done which sounded great. Apparently, Donald and Murdoch orchestrated the whole thing (my dumbass should've picked that up) it wouldn't be till much later in the day so we had plenty of time to prepare. While I was glad to get this work done I wasn't going to be pleased working with Murdoch. The big engine himself is a strong worker and all, but eh. I never quite liked him or the other S7 newbies as well as the Hit-Era guys. They all seemed too bland, now warranted I haven't made too much contact with them here to fully voice an opinion however from what I've seen they seem to be just the same as their TVs counterparts.
We arrived at Brendam and the train certainly did look pretty heavy. We situated ourselves as we usually do, Douglas in the back and us in the front....however with Murdoch I guess we were in the middle now as the big engine put himself up front. The train soon started and we made our way down the line however as we approached Crosby Donald started emitting steam everywhere in the cab. I thought something had gone wrong in the regulator so I turned it off and seemingly something had happened to Douglas as Hunter had to put him to a halt as well. It looked like Murdoch was going to have to pull the train. With a tremendous heave, Murdoch pulled all of us on his own, and it worked for a while. However, as we neared Lower Tidmouth there was an all mighty Crack up from the front and Murdoch was engulfed in a cloud of steam...his safety value had brust. Donald and Douglas soon began to all of a sudden steam into life and became function again...something was up and it was. This was a ploy to try and make us be impressed by Murdoch and they thought it would work...ha!
The Fat controller wasn't pleased by this and gave the engines quite an earful, we were able to take the train the rest of the way however Murdoch's been sent away to the works which leaves our heaviest goods engine out of commission which is great, Henry was enjoying taking the Holiday trains too he's not going to be happy coming back to goods so soon. To think they went through all of this just so I'll like the big gentle giant, they might try to pull this trick with the other "newbies" as well. They seem to care a lot about them...maybe there is more to them than I thought?

Last day before the party, we're finally done and everything is being set up at Knapford. Me and Koko are definitely going after seeing all the decorations up and running. It might actually be a little cool. We're also bringing Donald along how fun. He doesn't want to go in anyway but come on it's going to be fun right? This is also a punishment for that trick he and Murdoch pulled a few days ago. And hey who knows I still may take Donald's advice and start documenting the railway in the current day on the internet, and with this eclipse nonsense gone I'll be able to update this thing more.
In other news BoCo still hasn't been found, honestly, I'm concerned we might not see him again...on a lighter note Murdoch has already been repaired, the men at Crovan's Gate really are fast workers. A picture of him has been put up as it's an annual thing that a picture of the engine is put up in the works...to note who has had the first incident of the year. It's a great joke and the big engine doesn't seem happy about it, however, I think it serves him right for trying to impress me. What an idiot. James for one is just glad he's not on it for the sixth time in a row.
