All the interns were gathered at the lobby. Some are bragging their scrubs, others were talking when the chief of surgery spoke. 

"Good morning doctors! Welcome to Seoul International Hospital. I am Doctor Sandara Park, the chief of surgery."

The interns clapped their hands for the chief's introduction.

"Starting today, you will become real doctors, you will save people. And be medical heroes. This program will help you choose what you want you want to become. Whether general surgery, neuro, cardio, plastics surgery, ortho, and peds. This program will test how strong and willed you are to become the best surgeons of your generation. As you continue your journey in this hospital, you will meet different doctors and different cases. Congratulations for passing the program. I believe you have met your designated residents who will supervise you and will give recommendations and will help our attendings to teach you everything you need to know. So without any further ado, let's start to save lives today."

Chief Park went down the stairs and greeted by a few doctors.

"Nice speech Chief" Dr. Im Nayeon head of the Ortho commended. The doctor who has the sweetest smile because of her bunny teeth. 

"Thank you!" Chief Park said.

"Such a very promising speech!" Dr. Myoi Mina, head of the Neuro surgery added. Dr. Myoi has the softest voice. 

"Yes, it is so you have to take down note coz you might be next!" Chief Park siad.

"Naah, Dahyun is more deserving than I am. Zero death rate? Can't beat that" Mina countered.

"But you are second best and all of you have been declining the offer"

Mina and Nayeon was about to leave but the chief called them again.

"By the way, where is she?"

"Same time tomorrow Dr. Kim?" 

"I will let you know." Dr. Kim kissed the nurse once more before leaving the on-call room. Just as she closed the door, she was caught off guard by the doctor she wouldn't want to see.

"Doctor Park!" Dahyun stuttered.

"Doctor Kim?" Jihyo raised her brow. "Who is it this time? She asked.

"Uh.. no one! I was alone in there" Dahyun pointed the room.

"Oh really?" Jihyo opened the door and saw the nurse who was just getting dressed. Then closed the door right away.

"Kim Dahyun!" Jihyo pinched Dahyun's ear which made her whine in pain.

"ahhh!" Dahyun held her ear.

"When will you ever learn!?" Jihyo asked.

Dahyun was about to answer when their pagers beeped. They looked at each other and ran.

They reached the E.R. and it was chaos.

"Jung Hee-sun, 15 y/o, multiple injuries. Massive bone fracture, possible crainial bleeding." The paramedic announced.

"How did this happen?" Nayeon asked.

"He fell from a tree" The paramedic answered.

"We need to run some test" Mina said.

"Okay. we got him!" Nayeon said.

Mina and Nayeon worked with the patient together.

2nd ambulance came in.

"Jessica Jung. 30, breathing failure" Just as Dahyun walked to the patient, the patient had seizures.

"Give me an epi and 9mm tube!" She looked at the nurse. "Glove me"

Jihyo looked everywhere to look for her interns. "Minatozaki! Come over here!"

Sana went to them.

"Tube her now! Dahyun commanded.

Sana took the apparatus but was nervous. She couldn't move. She wanted to, but she got realy nervous. 

"Hey! Do it now! You want this patient to die?" Dahyun raised.

Sana tried to intubate the patient but was not able to get in.

"Patient's coding doctor Kim!" One of the nurses said. Sana tried her best but Dahyun took the tube. 

"Move!" Dahyun nodge Sana from her shoulder and in just a few seconds, she successfully inserted the tube in the patient's throat.

She looked at Sana sternly. "Remind me not to recognize your face or I will make your life a living hell. Now move and get out of my sight!"

She pushed the gurney. "Book me an O.R now!" She ordered the nurses.

Sana was about to cry because of the humiliation she got on her first day.
