Love and Anatomy.

One and half months have passed. Hyunnah is still undergoing chemo therapy. Dahyun and the rest are eager to know whether the IVF worked.

Nancy and Dahyun were sitting in front of the O.B waiting for the result. They are waiting for Jihyo and Jeongyeon. 

Dahyun seemed to be uncomfortable being with Nancy in one room. She just thank the heavens that Seulgi is with them. 

"What's taking them so long? I just want to know the results?" Nancy asked impatiently. 

Dahyun looked at her. "Don't worry, they'll be here. They know that I hate to be in one room with you." she mocked. 

Nancy was about to answer back when they heard a knock on the door and Jihyo's head appeared on the side and Jeongyeon followed suit. 

"So, now that all of you are here. I want to tell you the results." Seulgi opened the folder in front of her and giving it to Dahyun.

Seulgi looked directly at Dahyun. "I'm sorry, but it didn't work. We tried twice, but still it didn't."

Dissapointment was very obvious in Dahyun's face. "I'm sure there are other options." she uttered.

Seulgi cstood up. "You're right. And that is our last resort."

"What are you suggesting? Coz I don't like the sound of that." Dahyun is now about to burst.

"You need to have an actual intercourse." Seulgi blurted.

"I beg your pardon?" It is heard in Dahyun's voice that she doesn't like what the doctor is suggesting. She was about to stand up and leave but Jeongyeon held her shoulder. 

"Sex, you need to have sex with each other to make it more effective!" Seulgi reiterated. 

"Is that the only way doctor?" Nancy asked.

"Yes. You have done it anyway right?" Seulgi mocked.

Dahyun walked towards Seulgi and grabbed her collar. "You don't get to tell me what to do!"

Jeongyeon calmly stopped her. "Dahyun that is enough."

Dahyun let go of Seulgi's collar and walked out of the room.

Nancy was about to follow Dahyun but Jihyo stopped her. Jihyo looked at Jeongyeon telling her to follow Dahyun.

"Dahyun, you shouldn't have done that! You know what she is saying is right!" Jeongyeon said as she tried to catch Dahyun's phase. 

Dahyun faced Jeongyeon furiously. "So you think that I should just have sex with Nancy too?"

"Yes!" Jeongyeon said abruptly. "Dahyun, your daughter is dying! I know you don't want to have sex with her because you have Sana but that is the only way." She calmly added.
Dahyun wished she could just disagree. She took a step back till her back is on the wall and let herself fall. "Fuck."

Dahyun came home after her shift and Sana was at home. The smell of the hot ramen and kimchi stew greeted her nostrils as Sana have prepared dinner for her.
Sana appeared from the kitchen and greeted her with her cute smile and warm hug.

"Hey, babe! You are just right on time, and I hope you are hungry coz, I prepared the best dinner for you!" Sana kissed her and smiled. "Come on!" She took Dahyun's hand leading her to their table. 

Dahyun looked at the perfectly prepared food. She is sure that it would taste so good but she couldn't even find the best way to enjoy the food as she know that what she is about to tell Sana will ruin the night.  She looked at the happy face of her girlfriend. How will she tell her the news? How will it affect them? 

She sat in front of Sana and looked at her. 

"Come on babe, eat up!" Sana enthusiastically said.

"So how was your day? Chief Park called me asking if I wanted to..."

"The invitro did not work." Dahyun blurted.

"W-what?" Sana asked. "I mean h-how? What's gonna happen now?"

Dahyun kept silent. Sana stood up and kneeled on Dahyun's side.
"Babe, We can think of other ways and..."

Just before Sana could continue her word, Dahyun stood up and leaned on the sink and Sana followed her.

"Hey," Sana cupped her face.

"I need to have sex with her." Dahyun said.
Sana was dumbfounded and put her hand down.

"I wish I don't need to tell you this but I know I have to, and I know this is going to be hard. For you and for me."

Sana still kept silent and took a step backwards.

"Sana, babe," Dahyun held her hand. "You know I don't want to right? But please, this is for my daughter and I..."

"I didn't tell you not to do it. I promised you and to myself that I will be with you in every step of the way. But this is just so hard to process. I know why you would do it. But just please, let me process this." Sana turned around and took her purse. "I'll be at Momo's. I'll see you in the morning."

Dahyun did not stop her and just released a heavy sigh. "Fuck."
