y/n pov
I'm in the kitchen, playing some music and making Charlie's favourite meals, lasagna. I had just set the tables and laid out some candles.

Lately, Charlie had been coming home late and stressed from work. Being an AFL does have a downside, that no everybody sees. Luckily for, Charlie I've been there every night to try to cheer him up and to try to ease the stress.

Tonight, Charlie had texted me again saying he would not be home at his usual times, so I started to make dinner later so his food would be warm. I scooped some lasagna onto the plate when I heard the front door open and close. I looked up and I was met with the tired eyes that belonged to Charlie.

He smiled softly to me as I turned down the music down and began to walk over to him. Charlie wrapped his arms around his waist while I wrapped one arm around is neck and the other arm to cup his check. I placed a small passionate kiss on his lips as felt his body become less tense.
'Hey love, how was your day?' I asked pulling away from the kiss and rubbing my hands up and down his arms and his waist.
'Tiring, I just wanted to come home and spend some time with you.' He groaned lazily, laying his head in the crook of my neck.
'Well you're home now, my love. I made your favourite meal for dinner.' I sweetly spoke into  his ear as I took his hand and lead him to the dining room.

Charlie only nodded in response as he took his seat. I brought the plates into the dining room, placing one plate in front of him. I sat down, promptly placing a kiss on his head. As I began to eat, I secretly grinned to myself as I heard a moan of deliciousness from Charlie.
'This is so fucking good, angel. Thank you.' He softly spoke as he finished his dinner.

'Thank you. After I wash up the dishes do you want to take a bath?' I suggested and his face lit up at the thought.
'Yes please, and can you please add the aromatherapy bubbles?' He blushed as he mentioned the last part.
'Of course, whatever you want.' I smiled when I  got up to place the dishes in the sink.

As I'm rolling up my sleeves go wash the dishes, I felt Charlie put a hand on my shoulder stopping you. Charlie suggested that he does the dishes and after much hesitation I agreed. I stepped upstairs into our ensuite bathroom to start the bath.

I placed some candles around and dimmed the lights. Once the bath was full I placed the aromatherapy bubbles in that Charlie requested.
I was walking down the stairs the same time Charlie coming up the stairs. I took Charlie's hand and led him into the bedroom. He had a tired look on his face and helped him out of his navy Carlton tracksuit set. Charlie helped me out out my oversized t-shirt that is actually his, I slid off my undergarments before we both walked into the bathroom.

Instead of him usually going in first, I hopped in and he reluctantly got in after me and laid his head on my chest. I tan my fingers through is curly chocolate curls, while Charlie curled up on top of you, resting his eyes a bit.

'This better?' I asked whist he only nodded in response.
'I'm glad I could make you feel better love.' I spoke, placing a kiss on his forehead.
'You can always make me feel better y/n.' He whispered as he reached for my hand to place a delicate kiss to the palm of my hand.
I grinned as I grabbed the shampoo bottle and began to work it through Charlie's hair. Charlie moaned as remembered  how much he loves the feeling of my fingers running through his scalp.

'I'm sorry you're been handing a stressful time at work lately.' I frowned, not wanting him to go through much stress.
'It's alright angel, it's not your fault.' He grunted as you felt his body tense up at the thought.
'Let's not talk about hill this, okay? We're going to leave the work talk behind. This is just you and me time.' I smiled, wanting to switch topics so I don't stress him out more.

I began to wash Charlie up with a washcloth as I felt home begging to drift of to sleep in my arms. I realised once I cleaned up Charlie that it would be tricky to clean myself up when I have my 6ft5 boyfriend lying on top of me. Looking down at Charlie, he lying on top of you like a baby as soft snores escaped his parted lips.
I decided to just try and wash up myself as much as I could, not wanting to wake Charlie up. He started groaning slightly as I tried to clean myself up and I froze hoping he works stay asleep.

I had just washed up myself and was now adorning Charlie's beauty as he was sleeping. The bubbles had left the water and the candles were beginning to dim but you didn't want to wake him. Charlie was now curled up closer to you and has his arms wrapped around my waist.

The water was now getting cold and it was time me and Charlie hopped out of the bath. I rubbed my hands up and down Charlie's back as he began to shift around. He groaned in tiredness as I tried to place kisses all over his face, hoping to wake him up. Charlie's eyes slowly opened and he looked up to see me gazing down at him.
I smiled to him and he was adjusting to the surroundings. Realising he feel asleep Charlie  began to apologise but I cut him off and told it it was perfectly fine. I stood up and he wrapped his arms around my waist and he placed his head in the crook of my neck. I reached down to unplug the bath while Charlie grabbed a towel, wrapping it around me before wrapping one around himself.

After I brushed my teeth, I decided to shorten my usual skin care as I just wanted to help Charlie go back to sleep. Charlie finished getting ready for bed before you and went out of the bathroom to get into his pyjamas.
I Walked out of the bathroom and headed to our walk-in wardrobe the same time Charlie was walking out. He was dressed in a pair sweatpants, his Calvin Klein boxers visible and his hair was wet. I blushed slightly at the sight of his bare abs as he yawed softly. I encourage him to go and lay down while I get dressed.

I walked into the wardrobe, pulling on a pair of underwear along with one of Charlie's old t-shirts. I walked out into our bedroom and saw him lying down, cuddling my pillow. He looked exhausted and my heart immediately pained at the sight.
I told Charlie I was going downstairs quickly and would be back as I secretly grabbed his phone. Tiptoeing down stairs to the kitchen, I opened his phone and called his coach, Micheal.

'Hey Charlie, why you calling at this hour?' I hear Micheal say.
'Hey Micheal, this is actually y/n,' I corrected him, hearing an exhale breath from the other line.
'Oh my apologies Mrs Curnow, what can I do for you?' Micheal spoke and I blushed at the thought of being called Charlie's last name.
'I think it's best if Charlie has tomorrow off, he's been really stressed and tired lately and isn't his energetic self. Can he please have the day off.'I requested to Micheal.
'Of course Mrs Curnow. Thank you by the way, I have noticed Charlie has been very tense and and stressed lately, a day off will do him well. Thanks for letting me know.'
I let out a sigh of relief, so thanking that he understood.
'Thank you so much Micheal, have a great rest of the night,' I answered thankful of how understanding he is.
'No problem, you have a great night as well. Tell Charlie it's an order that he relaxes.' Micheal chuckles as he finish the last bit of his sentence.
I checked to myself before I hang up the phone, and begin walking back upstairs. I was walking up the stairs when I heard our bedroom door open revealing Charlie rubbing his hands over his face. Since it was dark, he didn't see me right away but I quickly hurried up the stairs. He jumped slightly when I appeared in front of him, relaxing once he realised it was me.

'What are you doing out of bed love?'I asked, wondering why he want asleep.
'I wouldn't sleep. You weren't there so I tried to come find you.' He tiredly replied, rubbing his large hands down my back.
'I'm sorry love, let's go bad to bed, yeah.' You coaxed as you grabbed his hand and brought him back into your shared master bedroom.

He only nodded in response as you both laid down in the bed. He laid his whole body on top of mine while I reached out to turn off the lamp. I laid against the pillows, getting comfortable while Charlie pulled the covers over both of us.
'Thank you for helping me out, Princess.' Charlie mumbled against my stomach as I ran my hands scratching his back.
'It's not problem love, sometimes you just have to remember to take a break every now and then. I love you so much and I don't want to see you exhaust yourself.' I cooed, my eyes softening at the sight of his drifting off to sleep.
'I Love you more gorgeous, now let's go to sleep.' He murmured into my neck placing a small kiss on my jaw.
I hummed in response, running the back of my fingers along his cheek. I smiled at the sight of him now asleep, grasping onto my waist tightly. I kissed his forehead one last time before I was drifting off to sleep myself.
