Charlie's pov
I arrive back home after we won the game against Gold Coast, I was so excited to see my girl again. As I open my door, I place my bags down as I hear footsteps running. I turn around and see y/n jump into my arms. Her arms around around my neck and mine wrap around her waist as we share a passionate, loving kiss. We stay in each others arms, enjoying being back in each others presence. I gently place her back down and grab her face, as I place a small kiss to her forehead.
'I'm so proud of you love.' She says.
'Thanks angel.' I say pecking her lips.
'What do you want for dinner, I can make your favourite, lasagna?' She asks and I smirk as I grab her waist making her closer to me.
'Later Charlie, I'm starving. You're lucky I even waited for you.' She giggles as till my eyes.
'As much as I love your lasagna, I just want us to relax. Cripps and Mon, Walshy, Cerra and Jack and Grace are all coming with over. Can we just get takeout from the new pizza place, we can get it delivered?' I say.
'Okay that's perfect, u haven't seen the girls in ages.' Y/n says as she reaches over to the couch to grab her phone.
'What do you think everyone will want?' She asks and she straddles in my lap on the couch.
'Probably grab a margarita, a Hawaiian, a vegetarian and a meat lovers.' I respond as she places down the orders.
'and....done.' She says, putting her phone down and snuggling into my chest and I play with her hair.
'We have three days to ourselves, as I don't need to train yet.' I say looking down at her.
'Hmmmm what should we do?' She asks as she looks up at me.
'We can go to the beach, we can go to the new restaurant you wanted to go to, we can stay home and relax all day or we can go to the fair.' I say.
'Can we do all four?' Y/n says, as jumps up to a set the doer as the doorbell ran, going to get the food we ordered.
'Hey,' I hear her say.
'Well hello, gorgeous girl.' I hear the delivery driver say which makes my head turn.
'Ummm thank-you.' Y/n says sounding uncomfortable enough to make me get out of the couch and make my way to the door. I get their just in time as I see the delivery man grab her hand and say
'How about you ditch your boyfriend and come to mine, I can show you a great time.' That comment made my blood boil.
I march over to him and pull him by his shirt and start telling at him.
'Charlie stop! Charlie please!' I hear y/n cry but I choose to ignore her.
'What the fuck is going on here?' I hear Cripps say and I turn my head and see all of them have arrived at a perfect timing.
'This mother fucker here was trying to hit on y/n and was trying to touch her.' I say staring into his eyes with fury. I see Mon and Grace walk past me and run over to y/n, comforting her.
'How could I not she's hot? With what's she's wearing she is basically asking for it.' He says and my anger has reached its end. I place him down and try and punch him but I'm held down by Cripps and Cerra. Walsh and Jack yell at the guy and push him out of our house and slam the door shut.
'LET ME GO!' I yell.
'He's not worth it.' Cerra says, still having a grip on me.
'I'm going to kill him.' I say through my gritted teeth.
'No Charlie, you are going inside to comfort your scared, crying girlfriend and apologise to her.' Walsh says as Cripps and Cerra get off me.
'Wait...what do you mean scared?' I say turning around.
'Mate, she was terrified, when she saw you angry.' Jack said and my face dropped.
'Fuck.'I mumble as I try and find her. I then see Grace and Amon walk out of our room.
'She's in there, we'll get dinner ready for you.' Mon says.
'Thanks.' I reply, walking into our bedroom to y/n on the bed with her head in her hands. The sight of her, broke me.
'Love.' I say my voice cracking, y/n turned her head to see me. She ran up to me and jumped into my arms, I stumble back not expecting her to hug me.
'Thank you.' She whispered into my neck.
'I'm so sorry I scared you angel.' I sob into her neck.
'No it's okay Charlie, I know you were just protecting me. I love you for that.' She says as she lifts her head up and places a delicate kiss in my head.
'I love you more.' I say i between the kiss.
'Let's do our and enjoy dinner with our friends.' Y/n says pecking me on the lips. We walk out hand in hand and head into the lounge room to join the others.
Y/n pov
We just finish dinner and are cleaning up, Mon, Grace and I. The boys are playing some video games in the lounge room. We stay in the kitchen and gossip and talk before going to the lounge room to see our boys. I sit next to Charlie and take his hand off the controller and place my hand over the top of his. I snuggle into his side and start to drift asleep.
Charlie's pov
We were playing for awhile when I hear
'You're asleep you know Charles?' Grace says, I look down and see Y/n peacefully sleeping. I hear awes around the room and we go back to playing our game not before I give her a gentle kiss on her forehead.
1 hour later
'Alright, it's getting a bit late, we should get going.' Cripps says and everyone agrees.
'I'll show you out.' I say getting up but to only be getting pushed down.
'Charlie you stay here with your sleeping girlfriend, we'll show ourselves out.' Cerra says.
'Okay if you say so.' I say sighing.
'Make sure to lock the door on the way.' I say.
'Don't worry.' Jack says.
'Goodnight.' They all say and I smile and reply with a 'goodnight'. I look down and y/n and smile as I kiss her on her lips.
Y/n wakes up and I give her a kiss on her nose. We start watching a movie, within 29 minutes of the movie I start getting hot.
'Jesus y/n its boiling in here. Can we take the heat off and get rid of the blanket?' I ask.
'Noooo I'll be cold Charlie.' She whines with a pout.
'Fine but at least can I take my top off.' I ask.
'You don't have to ask. Besides I love the view.' She says and I laugh. She gets off my and I take off my top, and then she lays back down on me. She snuggles back down and I play with her hair and she traces my abs.
The movie finishes and I see y/n sleep. I giggle and admire her beauty while she's sleeping. I go to pick her up which causes her to wake up.
'It's okay love go back to sleep, I'll take you to bed.' I whisper as she nods sleepily. I close our bedroom door and grab her pyjamas from our walk in wardrobe as place them on her. After I'm finished I tuck her into bed and get changed so I'm just in my boxers. I get into bed and pull her onto my chest, kissing her head as I begin to drift off to sleep myself.

sorry I haven't updated you in a while. I going to tonight's game and I have a sign, so hopefully Charlie will notice me and sign my jersey or badge. FINGERS CROSSED🤞
