Chapter 8

The next day, the group headed toward the moat hut to tell her their plan, since they had discussed it last night until they all went to bed and again this morning. They were all hoping this plan would work, as they all wanted Lo'ak back; it had been eight years since they had seen and hugged him. Their memories of him were insufficient, and they wanted him back in real life. After some walking, they soon reached the Moat home.

Kiri: "Hello, grandmother"

Moat: "Hello, everyone, please come inside." Everyone soon walked into Moat's home and sat down. They knew this was going to be a complicated conversation with her.

Neteyam: "Grandma, we came to discuss with you, Lo'ak." Moat looked at her eldest grandson with a shocked expression.

Moat," Speak, you have my attention"

Neteyam: "We want to bring Lo'ak home; we have missed him so much"

Aonung: "It has also been eight years since we last saw him. It has been long enough since he was banished"

Moat: " Yes, it has been eight years. He will be 22 years old by now, an adult"

Kiri: "he's been gone for eight years all on his own and maybe with payakan because after Lo'ak left, payakan didn't stay for that long and soon left ... we miss him and want him home"

Moat: "We all miss him in our own ways"

Tuk: " I don't have that many memories of Lo'ak, and I really miss him. I want him home with us, and maybe, home can finally feel happy again"

Moat: " Where is Lo'ak right now? Do any of you know"

Neteyam: "There has been some talk of where he might have gone. We can use those leads and go to where he is and bring him home."

Moat," Good we need to use all the information we get."

Aonung: "That means once we find him, we have to speak about it with our fathers and the rest of the clan. That will not be easy for all the actions on his reputation and name."

Tsyeria: " We can think about that after we find Loak. We can see if we can ask for a new trial for loak after all these years. They will have to allow him to come back, and we will stand with him this time"

Moat: " That will work. All of you come with me; we must act now so we can get everybody here and start a new trial." Most had soon left the hut, followed by everyone else as they made their way towards where Jake and tonowari are meeting with some of their top warriors.

Jake: "Hey kids, what are you all doing here"

Tuk: " Dad, we came to ask you an important question"

Tsyeria: " I will fetch Mom and Neytiri, as they will need to be here for what is about to be said." Tsyeria soon walked off, not taking the long way, as she returned with her mom and Neytiri.

Tonowari, "Tell us why you gathered us here and sent the others away"

Aonung, "We have come here to talk about Lo'ak"

Ronal, "We don't speak about that boy; he's a bad role model"

Aonung, "Enough, mother, we have asked for your guys' attention, and you will listen to what we have to say now; let us speak"

Neteyam, " It has been eight years long enough for Lo'ak to become a mature adult and a good member of the clan"

Jake and Neytiri," ........."

Tonowari and ronal " ......l"

Kiri, " It has been long enough; he should be given a chance to come home and see everyone. He has been away long enough"
