"I can't wait to meet you! Sleep well Channie~!" Felix smiled to himself, hanging up the phone. He and Bangchan had been good friends for a while.
They had never met in person, which was surprising, given that they had known each other via the internet for a few years. They told each other almost anything. The biggest thing being Felix's sexuality.
When he came out to Chan as bisexual, the elder was nothing but supportive. Even though Chan was straight, he had nothing but love and support for Felix, who was more than thankful.
Felix and Chan had agreed to meet. They lived over eight hours apart, so they decided to meet at the airport. Chan decided that he didn't want to tax Felix with the journey to somewhere he didn't know, nor did he want Felix to spend any extra money on something that Chan knew he could cover.
Felix was struggling financially as he was as an art school student, some days not even able to squeeze in a meal. Bangchan, on the other hand, was rich. He had lots of money to blow on as many plane trips as he wanted. He didn't have to worry about the next time he'd eat.

What Chan wasn't prepared for was how early he would need to wake up in order to board the plane to meet his friend. It didn't help that he had been up almost the whole night, squealing to himself at how amazing it would be to meet Felix. When he finally closed his eyes, it felt like it had been mere minutes when his alarm went off. Regardless, he got up. He didn't even feel tired with all the excitement flowing through his veins.
As soon as the plane took off, he fell asleep. Falling asleep was rather rare for Chan. It felt nice, though, to finally rest his eyes as he dreams. His dreams were never crazy, they were mostly about things he was worrying about.
This time he dreamt about Felix. In the dream, Felix was smiling and happy. Or, at least he seemed happy. But within seconds, the smaller boy pointed at Chan as his smile fell to a frown, who was now coughing up a beautiful pink flower. And that's when Chan woke up, the attendant telling the passengers to put their seat belts on and to prepare to land.
Felix was waiting, sitting in a chair as he watched the door that Chan was bound to walk through any second. He held a cutely drawn sign that read 'Channie-hyung~!'. There were little doodles drawn all over the edges.
Bangchan was somewhere in the middle of the line of people, dragging a small suitcase behind him. As soon as his eyes met Felix, he ran to the younger, engulfing him in an immediate hug. Felix happily returned the embrace, reality finally hitting him. When they both pulled away from the hug, Felix looked up at the smiling Chan, who had tears welling in his eyes.
"You're really real!" Felix exclaimed, whisper-yelling. This caused Chan to giggle and nod, almost unable to believe that such a cute human existed.
"I'm really real, Lix. And you are too," He smiled, whipping away a tear with his thumb that made its way down Felix's right cheek. He was so involved in the boy in front of him that he didn't even realize his own tears trailing down his face. He was finally meeting Felix.

Throughout the day, the two had done a bunch of things together. Both of the boys had made sure they were touching at every moment that they could. Chan couldn't help but stare at Felix every chance he got; his freckles were Chan's favorite feature.Soon, their lovely day faded into a lovely night. They had decided to go back to Felix's apartment after they had been called a cute couple for the tenth time. Chan couldn't say it bothers him though. He loved that he was associated with Felix, a light blush dusting his cheeks at the thought.
When they got back to Felix's house, Chan immediately needed to throw up. He simply tried to ask Felix where the bathroom was as he covered his mouth. Felix said something about the door on the right, pointing to a door that was covered in sketches.
Chan hurried, quickly closing the door behind him. He hurled over the toilet, ending up coughing more than anything. As he coughed into his hands, a flower petal that was shaped just like a heart fell into his hand.
The flower was pink with white edges, blood leaving a red pigment on the petal. Chan was more than familiar with what was happening. It happened to his close friend, whom he didn't like to talk about. He felt bad because he was the reason. Thankfully his friend, who was named Jeongin, had fallen for someone else named Hyunjin and they had mutual feelings.
Chan couldn't place his finger on who he had fallen for, nor why this had hit him suddenly. That was until Felix knocked on the door lightly.
"Channie hyung...are you alright?" His voice was soft, yet deep. That's when Chan realized. He was in love with Felix.
"Yeah, Lix. I'm alright." He tried his best to sound alright, throwing on a fake smile to convince himself.
"Okay Hyung..." Felix hesitated. "I put your stuff in the guest room, by the way." Chan smiled at this. He knew Felix didn't have to do that, but he did anyway. That made Chan very happy, despite the fact that he was going to die.
-
Days have passed since the two boys have met. It had also been a week since Chan has started coughing the flower. Each day, he got worse, his lungs begging for air. Felix was getting worried but he didn't know what was wrong with Chan.He was suffering from the same thing. Felix was also in love with Chan, but he kept doubting, causing the flowering plant to grow and grow. In Front of Chan one day, he accidentally coughed, flowers showing in his hands, blood dripping from his pink lips. He looked at Chan worried.
"Felix..." Chan's eyes went wide, looking from Felix's face to the flower. "Who is it?"
"I..I can't." Felix denied, shaking his head.
"Felix you have to tell me, I need to know if I can help." He held back his own cough, soon coughing into his hand, ignoring the flower.
"You too?" Felix felt his heart sink more, physically feeling the flowers growing in his chest. Chan just nodded. "Who is it?" Chan bit his lip before sighing, finally admitting it.
"Felix, It's you. Ever since that first day, when you hugged me, I fell for you. Hard. And I don't know why, but I did. If you weren't so perfect I wouldn't be here. I know you don't feel the same way but Yongbok your freckles and your eyes and your perfect lips, just...I just had to tell you."
Felix suddenly felt his lungs open, able to take a deep breath as he saw a tear fall from Chan's eyes.
"Chan...I-" Chan cut him off.
"Spare me the rejection, we can just forget about it." Chan's voice was shaky as tears streamed down from his eyes.
"Chan. You don't get it.." A tear fell from Felix's right eye as he continued. "I love you too. More than I thought I could. I don't know why it happened but you're just so...amazing and sweet and nice. And your hugs make me melt and I'm in love with you." He smiled at Chan.
Chan felt his lungs clear and finally took a breath that felt...good? He smiled at Felix, pulling him closer.
"God I love you...I always will." And so he did, Felix promising the same.
