Summer was halfway over, and throughout that time, Peter and Eleanor spent a lot of time together. Eleanor really liked Peter, and Peter had grown feelings for her as well. They were both too nervous to admit it to one another though, which was truly a shame. Tony could practically smell the emotions from his lab, so he tried to stay as far away as possible.
Peter and Eleanor had decided to have a movie night to binge watch the Harry Potter movies, well the first, second, and third movies, they'd have to wait until the next day to finish the rest. Eleanor didn't want to stay up too late, otherwise she'd have absolutely no sleep before James woke up the next morning.
Anyway, for dinner to go with the movie, the two had chosen pizza. They had also sent one down to Tony, since they knew he was going to be in his lab working. He was creating things as much as possible, even though he and Pepper were finally on good terms. The woman lived in the compound with them, and she often helped out with James when given a chance.
To go with the pizza, they had also gotten chips and dip, soda, brownies, and cupcakes. Pepper had been the one to get everything, since she wanted them to have fun. Honestly, she was trying to set it up as a date. She thought the two were do cute together, and she wanted to be the reason they got together.
"What's your opinion on Dumbledore?" Eleanor asked, looking over at Peter,"The answer is important, because if you say the wrong thing, we can't be friends anymore." She said, and his eyes widened.
He wasn't sure if she was being serious or not. Would she seriously not be his friend over his opinion on a fictional wizard? He hoped not, otherwise he'd cry. He'd literally burst into tears, and cry really ugly like the ladies in the movies Aunt May would make him watch with her.
"W-well," He rubbed his neck nervously,"I think Dumbledore is a manipulative, crazy old man. I mean, he groomed Harry into believing he was the best wizard of all time, and that he would tell Harry exactly what he needed to do at certain times. Harry fell at every word he said, and he wanted that to happen. Not to forget either, that he knew Voldemort was going after James and Lily, but he didn't save them. He let them die, so he could get their kid. He knew the Dursleys were abusing Harry, and he didn't care. He kept Sirius from having a fair trial, and he stole James's invisibility cloak, which I think could've potentially saved lives." He ranted, and Eleanor smiled.
"You said exactly what I was thinking." She said, making Peter smile as well.
"Which movie is your favorite?" Peter asked, causing her to bite her lip.
"That's a hard choice, but I have to say Prisoner of Azkaban, since that's the movie you're introduced to two of the best characters." She replied, and he laughed.
"Sirius is pretty great." He commented, making her smirk.
"Who are your favorite characters?" She asked, and he shrugged.
"It depends on the movies, but for all the movies I will say Fred and George, but I like Draco in Half-Blood Prince, Sirius is amazing, and Remus is pretty cool. I like how mean Snape is sometimes. I also really like Ginny," He answered,"What about you?"
"Draco, Fred, George, Bill, Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Narcissa, and Snape. I also really like Percy, I believe he deserves more recognition. I don't think he'd be the way he was if he was given more attention. He was expected to be perfect, and he expected himself to be perfect. I kind of blame his parents for the way he was. I also really like Bellatrix, I know she's a bad guy, but I absolutely love her." Eleanor explained, going into a lot of detail.
"Do you have a favorite couple, or a couple you think shouldn't have happened?" He asked, and she nodded.
"I think that my favorite couple was Tonks and Remus, 'cause they were simply so cute together, but I feel like Bill and Fleur kind of barely fall second to them. I also kind of feel like Hermione and Ron didn't work that well, and I kind of didn't like Harry and Ginny. To me, I kind of think maybe Hermione and Harry should've been together. They had more chemistry than Ron and Hermione or Ginny and Harry. I mean, honestly, I just don't understand some of the relationships that were there. They simply didn't work and--" She ranted, until Peter cut her off.
He didn't cut her off with words though. No, he cut her off with a kiss. A simple, and sweet peck to the lips. Eleanor had fallen silent with Peter pulled away, and Peter's cheeks flamed red. He was embarrassed, and he was scared that he had ruined his friendship with Eleanor.
"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have--" He began, but she cut him off.
"I liked it." She said, and his eyes widened.
"You did?" He asked, causing her to nod.
"I did," She answered,"I actually have wanted to do that for a while." She commented, as her cheeks turned red as well.
"Would you, maybe, wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked, and she smiled at how adorable he was.
"I'd love to be your girlfriend, Peter." She replied, making him smile.
The two finished watching the movies together, but this time it felt even more right. They sat on the couch with Eleanor's head on Peter's shoulder, and their hands were intertwined in Peter's lap. Honestly, it was a cute sight to see, and what they didn't know was Tony could see them through his computer from the camera in the living room. He thought they were adorable, and he hoped nothing would ruin their relationship...
