*Time Skip - A Couple Weeks Later*
Eleanor and Peter were still going strong. At first, Eleanor became worried that Peter would start drifting from them after James called him 'Dada,' but he didn't. He actually started coming around a lot more, and sometimes he'd bring little gifts and such for James. He claimed "a good dad brings their boy gifts."
Eleanor didn't mind the gifts James recieved, as long as it wasn't every day. She didn't want the little boy to be spoiled too much, and she didn't want him thinking that every time Peter came over he'd get a gift. That would be a hard habit to break if it did happen.
James was walking around more, but soon everyone knew he was going to be running. They had to baby proof everything once James started crawling, because they knew he could easily bump his head or get into anything he didn't need to. The problem was sometimes the baby proofing was too good, and even the adults had trouble getting into the cabinets.
Anyhow, with Peter around all the time, Eleanor didn't feel as lonely without her family. It was still hard for her not to see them, but she didn't feel as alone. She had Peter and James to help her stop feeling so alone, but so did Pepper and Tony and Rhodey.
Truth be told, Eleanor began to really warm up to Tony. She and Tony had really connected over the time she was stuck in the compound. She wasn't really allowed out yet, but Tony recently started to take her out to go eat and do other things.
Eleanor really didn't talk much to her father and the others. She recieved messages every so often, but it wasn't a lot. She had recieved a couple more letters from Bucky, and they sounded promising. He was getting better, and she was really happy to hear of his progression.
Eleanor kept her letters to herself, since she knew what Bucky had done to Tony's parents as the Winter Soldier. She felt horrible for Tony, and she knew she'd feel just like him when it came to facing Bucky. She hoped that they wouldn't meet and fight again, even if that meant she'd never be able to see him or the rest of her family again.
Honestly, she was just happy to have Peter and James. She really liked being around Pepper and Tony. They made living a lot easier, since they no longer left her alone in the compound. They lived there the same as she did, and she was grateful for them. She was never going to be alone again, and that was something she'd always be happy about.
"I love you, Ellie." Peter told her, as she laid her head on his shoulder.
"I love you, Pete." She replied, kissing his cheek.
They loved being together. Honestly, if they could stay together forever in the compound they'd be happy. Aunt May visited sometimes to see Eleanor, and the girl was very happy to see her. Having her family get bigger, especially after not being able to talk to the others, truly made Eleanor feel a lot better about herself and the life she was going to live with her son...
