The end of the world (obx)

the beginning

the carrera family was sitting on their couch watching tv to be exact the news. The news said that there was a new virus, the symptoms were not yet known and it was not clear how you could get infected, but that it was better to stay at home until further notice.
"this is stupid" says mike turning off the television and getting up from the couch "I'm going to work".

"dad you haven't heard the news it's better to stay home" says kiara Looking towards Mike.

"Kiara this will just be one more silly virus nothing will happen to us" says Mike walking towards the door.

The moment Mike opens the door, a person pounces on him, throwing him to the ground and climbing on top of him.
"mike" says Anna screaming running towards him.
Anna was late, the person on top of Mike had bitten her neck causing Mike to begin to bleed out.
"Dad" Kiara says as tears threaten to spill out.  

The person on top of Mike had gotten up and started walking towards Anna. Anna began to back up until she hit the wall and the person jumped on top of her scratching her face and biting her arm.
Anna's screams were heartbreaking. Anna fell to the floor while Kiara had hidden behind the kitchen counter with a knife in her hand.  With the other hand she covered his mouth so as not to make noise since she was crying.
The person began to approach the kitchen. Kiara was desperate, she didn't know what to do, she didn't have her cell phone nearby to call the police. while the person was walking she was looking at him details The person was pale yellow eyes and full of blood and wounds. The person was dead he was a zombie Kiara realized this since as a child she spent watching zombie movies with her parents over pizza for dinner. They used to do that on Friday nights after a long day at work. If this was like the movies she should be stabbing in the head otherwise he wouldn't die But she wasn't sure. She took courage when she saw that the zombie was approaching her, she surrounded the table. She was behind the zombie, she raised the knife and stuck it in his head The zombie fell to the ground next to Kiara who fell to the ground crying.

"Shit"Kiara said trying to control her breathing.This wasn't over his parents were going to turn into zombies if she didn't kill them. She didn't want to stab her parents But she had to she approached his father first since he was the first bitten with all his strength crying and whispering to his father "I'm sorry" she stabbed his father in the forehead.

She did the same with her mother, she took the bodyes and locked them in the cleaning room. She close all the doors and windows And turned the TV on the news to see what they were talking about .

The people on the news looked desperate, they talked about the virus, they said it was a zombie virus, and that's when the news went off.

Kiara was crying she had just lost both of her fathers What did she have to do now? she looked out the window, the streets were full of blood and zombies, people screaming and running everywhere.

She went up to her room, took her biggest backpack, full of clothes, food, and all the knives she found in the kitchen. She took some photos she had with her parents and a stuffed turtle that her parents gave her for her fifth birthday.
She went to her father's room, looked in there closet, she knew they had a gun for protection. It didn't have many bullets but they'll do. she knew how to shoot so it would work.
She didn't know if she should leave home or stay. She didn't know where she would be safer so she decided to stay for a few days and when everything had calmed down a bit she would leave the house and head towards his grandfather's house. Her grandfather's house was in the country far enough to walk but she would go with her skateboard.

So when it got dark she went to her room, closed the door and even put a chair in front of the door so that it was impossible to open.She went to bed she thought about her parents and crying she fell asleep.
