In the following morning, everyone had rested quite well, including Pope, who had fallen asleep on top of the rock he was watching over.Sarah had been the first to wake up and when she saw that Pope had fallen asleep she woke up screaming and gave him a rather long talk telling him that he shouldn't have fallen asleep.

The other three had been woken up by the noise and when they left the tent they saw Pope being scolded by Sarah, quite a funny scene if you ask JJ.

When that scene ended they all picked up what they had left and headed towards the road trying to find a store with some food

Hey guys, there's a store there. Pope said, pointing to a shop he had seen in the distance

Well, let's go there. JJ said as they all started to walk faster towards the store.

They all entered the store very carefully, the store was destroyed and there were corpses of zombies everywhere, each and every one of them had a hole in the head made by a knife.

Someone had killed them, they all split up to go to different places in the store, the boys went to the left and the girls to the right.

On the part of the girls I was reading them quite well, they had found a lot of water and a lot of canned food, when they finished the food they went to the women's section and grabbed things that they need.

On the part of the boys, they weren't so lucky, they had found some food but it wasn't much, JJ had found a package with kitchen knives, It wasn't very sharp since after all it was only for cooking but he still keep them in the backpack since he would probably use them later.

The boys went to the entrance that was where they had stayed with the girls to meet when they finished, The girls were already there waiting for them with a smile on their faces

Then they all left the store and went to kie's grandfather's house.
About two hours had passed since they left the store, they had reached a field and in the distance you could already see a small wooden house.
It could be said that everyone was very happy to be able to rest comfortably in a normal house.
Although they were all very happy, kie had the biggest smile on her face They were about to see their grandfather.

Although they were surprised when they got closer and closer and saw that the door was open, Kiara didn't wait a second and ran towards the house.

Upon entering Kiara realized that there was a person and it was not her grandfather whom she wanted to see since the apocalypse began.
In the house there was a man who was sitting on the worn sofa that was there, but when he heard that the door was open more than what was already there, he turned around to see that Kiara was pointing at him.

Who were you? Kiara asks with the gun pointed at his head.

I should have seen you ask that. What are you doing in this house? That man asked as he slowly got up

This is not your house. Someone lived here, where is that person? Kiara asks screaming

Oh, are you talking about that old man? I ask the stranger and seeing Kiara nod she is speaking 

Well, he wouldn't let me stay in this house, he said he was waiting for his granddaughter or something like that, so I shot him and now he's dead, If you want to see it or something like that I put it in the barn I guess it's still a zombie  Said the man without showing any kind of emotion

You are a stupid son of a bitch. Kiara said angrily as tears flowed from her eyes.
Kiara didn't wait another second, she had never killed a person and she didn't plan to do it either but right now she was just blinded by the rage that was consuming her. She pointed where his heart is and pulled the trigger. The bullet was fired and quickly hit against the man's heart,
The man fell to the ground unable to breathe but he was still alive.
Kiara still angry so she dropped the gun and rushed towards the man climbing on top of him and starting to hit him while tears came out of her eyes. Her vision was blurry The only thing he felt was hands pulling him away from the man, There was no need to look who it was, obviously Kiara Knew that it was JJ. He was saying something to her but she was not able to understand what.

She has no idea at what moment they moved from the room, so much so that they were in their room.  In Kiara's grandfather's house she had a room from when she was little, while Kiara was crying in JJ's arms he was observing some details of that room. It wasn't very big the walls were blue like the sea and there were little turtles drawn on the walls, there was a leg that wasn't very big either a carpet and a wardrobe Apart from those obvious details there was a small surfboard hanging on a wall, I had no idea that she surfed.
There were drawings that JJ assumed she herself would have drawn when she was little and apart from that there were many pictures of her when she was younger, One of them I call attention in particular was a photo of kie who looked about 7 years old, she was uploaded to the hombres of a man who he assumed would be her grandfather Kiara was smiling and JJ realized that in that photo she was missing too many teeth, which made her quite funny.

Kiara had stopped crying and turned away from JJ, she didn't even look at him, she was too embarrassed, she just sighed and said thank you with her head bowed.

JJ didn't even have time to answer, she left the room heading towards the living room, JJ followed her and saw that the other three had fallen asleep on the couch and a mattress on the floor, también se dió cuenta de que habían sacado el cuerpo de aquel hombre y la sangre ya no estaba en el suelo. Kiara left the house and put her hand in her pocket taking out one of her knives, JJ obviously followed without knowing where she was going.

He tried to ask her where she was going but she didn't answer, JJ realized that she was walking towards a small barn that was there, he realized that there were two barns, one big and the other smaller, Kiara headed towards the smallest, she opened the door and headed inside with JJ behind following every step she took.
Kiara squeezed the knife in her hand and threw a metal bucket full of water on the ground making a lot of noise, JJ didn't understand what she was trying to do until she saw a zombie come out from the back of the barn , he heard kie cry and when he looked closely at the zombie he saw that he looked like the gentleman who appeared in that photo, he was kie's grandfather who was now a zombie and had died with a gunshot.

While JJ observed the scene, she approached the zombie and raised the hand in which she had the knife,  her hand was shaking a lot JJ wanted to tell kie that he could do it if she didn't want to but before he could even open his mouth Kiara nailed a knife in the zombie's head and she fell to her knees like the zombie.
