Hikari Aina POV

It was lunch time and to my surprise Kenji was waiting for me by the door of my class 

"Hey, we could've just met at the cafeteria" I said walking towards him

He smiled at me "Well your class is on the way there so I decided to pick you up"

"That eager to see me huh?" I smirked

"You can say that" This guy is pretty confident

We took our seats in the cafeteria "Hey Ainachi!" I heard Kise say before making his way to our table and taking a seat next to me "Oh hey, Kenji. Mind if I sit next to you guys?" He asked but went on to eat his food 

I rolled my eyes "Actually I mind, Kise" 

"No, it's okay you can sit with us" Kenji said and he looked at me smiling. I looked over at Kise and is annoyed with him, can't he take a hint 

"Hey, I went by your class to pick you up for lunch but you weren't there" Aomine said sitting down on our table as well, I glared at him "Can I have some of the chicken butter it looks nice" Aomine said before taking the food off my plate, another one that can't take a hint 

Soon Momoi, Kuroko and Kagami joined in on our table, Momoi looked at me and mouthed a 'sorry' 

"So Kenji, are we practicing  tonight before the party?" Kagami asked,  a party? 

"Nah, the captain gave us a day off. He talked to the coach, he agreed that we've been practicing too much and we can have a day off" Kenji said 

"What about tomorrow do we have practice as well?" Aomine asked 

"Nope, practice resumes on Monday" Kenji said taking a bite of his food "Oh this is good, want some?" He asked me, I nodded and he fed me 

"Nice! I didn't want to be hungover during practice" Kise said 

"Daichan, eat up or your food's gonna get cold" Momoi said and I looked at him. He was looking at me but he has a blank expression on his face 

After lunch Kenji walked me to class "I'll see you later Aina" He said waving at me before heading to his class 

I took a seat next to Aomine "Hey there stranger" I said tapping his forehead 

"Oh hey, when did you walk in?" He asked

"Just, I can't wait for classes to over and head home" I said taking my notebook out 

"Huh?" He replied, I looked at him curious, he seems out of it "Are you okay Aomine?" 

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He asked looking the other way 

"It just looks like something's bothering you" I said, I was going to pester him more but the teacher walked in already 

The rest of the day went on and after my last class, I waited for Aomine but he didn't show up. I walked to the door and he's still not here. Where could that big dummy be? I remember Kenji said that they don't have practice today. Maybe he's running late, I thought when I heard my phone ring, it was Momoi

"Inamin hurry up, everyone's waiting for you" She said 

"Is Aomine there already?" I asked 

"Yeah, c'mon. I wanna eat before tonight's party and you're coming with us" Weird, he didn't pick me up after class. Is he okay? 

I walked to the gate and saw that everyone is already there waiting for me "Took you long enough Ainachi, what took you so long? Was it Kenji?" He smirked at me
