"Subject now seems to be heading to sleep".

Currently, Artemis was hidden between the bushes of a tree, close to the blue hedgehog's abode. It had not been a comfortable position, with Artemis hanging on to the side by grasping the trunk with one arm. However, she managed given the many mountain climbs she had done throughout the years.

For the past few days, Artemis had observed the hedgehog and his daily routines. It had not come without its challenges, as she was not accustomed to being awake or moving around in the daytime. She also had to move incredibly slow between forests in case of any hunters, and once or twice she had caught herself dozing off during the investigations. Nevertheless, the process had been going smoothly. The day's investigation was coming to a close with the setting sun.

Much to her delight, the hedgehog, while overly impulsive, also seemed to be incredibly friendly. He and the humans he lived with all seemed to have the typical bond of a suburban middle-class family (despite the alien hedgehog).

The woman named Maddie, previously dubbed Pretzel Lady, was a veterinarian. Every day, she would wake up at 7 am, put on her lab coat, and head out the door, but not before reminding the hedgehog of all the healthy food available in the fridge (which the hedgehog vehemently ignored). She seemed incredibly nice, a perfect balance between super cheerful but also level-headed (which could only be necessary given everybody else in that household seemed to be men).

In fact, it was thanks to her that Artemis was able to find out where the hedgehog lives. As she was looking for clues to find out where the blue hedgehog was residing, she suddenly caught sight of Maddie taking her dog home from a walk and as such was able to follow her.

The man, whose name was Tom Wachowski, was the town sheriff. He left for work around the same time as Maddie. While he wasn't as cheerful as Maddie was, his laid-back personality actually served to be one of his positive traits. He seemed like the type of person who would patiently listen to you vent your struggles. Overall, a very kind person.

Tom also seemed to be the one who was closest with the hedgehog, with all the clever back and forths and fist bumps the two frequently shared. It only made sense, given the fact that they both went on a fantastical adventure with threats of danger at every turn. It was easy to pick up on every single minuscule detail given the fact it was the hot topic of the week at the dining table. There were even points that Artemis caught herself being so fixated on the story that she forgot to take notes. It seemed like it could make a very good novel, from threats of evil government agents to the unlikely bond shared between Tom and the hedgehog; it was all so incredible.
