"Where do we start?" I asked.
"I think we have to find the materials." said Fitz. I noticed that a few girls at the table were staring at him dreamily. I was not jealous anymore, Fitz and I had broken up, and now, Keefe was being the best one for me. I did notice though, that Linh was glaring at the other girls.
"How about we start with the information, gather and sort it, and then see where it goes?" said Annabeth.
"Good Idea" said Will. I immediately trusted him and the rest of the demigods, (accept Nico di Angelo, that guy was creepy), when we first met them one day ago.
"Ok, so. we have a sword, right? Where is it?" asked Percy. Clearly, Annabeth was right to give him the nickname 'Seaweed Brain'.
"No. We have to make the sword out of special materials, as listed in the book." said Michael. I could also see some girls staring at him too, but when they looked at Mary, sitting next to him, they looked down.
" Where can we find the 'stone of the great'?" said Percy.
"We find it in The King's palace." said Biana.
"What king?" asked Annabeth.
"Mary's dad" said Michael quietly.
Everyone looked at Mary. She was looking down, ashamed or embarrassed.
"20,000 human years ago, my father, the King of the Nierce, stole the stone of the great from the Elves, and stole the sword of justice and healing from demigods. He vowed to put them together, and when he did, it burst into pieces of materials, because he wasn't the right holder. Him stealing it created a catastrophe that almost caused a demigod vs Nierce vs Elf war. In order to hide his mistake, he ordered some people to erase memories of what happened, hide the pieces, and put the stone away. He also made them document some of this as an older king's mistake, and put some of it in the log, as a myth or legend." Mary explained reluctantly.
She hid behind her hair, not wanting to look at everyone's shocked faces. I hoped someone would find something to say, otherwise the world could end in silence. Then, all of the sudden, all the beings in the room started yelling at once, not believing that they could have been robbed and not know about it.
"Shut up!" yelled Keefe, "We all have to deal with this by fixing what happened and healing Rhea, otherwise we will never get along. That's what the prophecy meant by 'beware the divide'! If we all are divided and not working together, we will never be able to fix this!"
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Keefe on this one." said Tam.
"Aw! Bangs Boy! I'm growing on yah!"
"I never said that."
"Whatever!" interrupted Annabeth, "We have to split up into groups to get the materials."
"No. It would be too dangerous for us to split up." said Percy.
"But look at the size of the group! We will attract to much attention."
"Did we even agree on who was coming?" I asked, getting annoyed that they were jumping ahead.
"She's right." to my surprise, it was Nico who said that.
"I think that Me, Michael, and Percy should go get the stone from my dad's royal treasury. Sophie and her friends can split up with Will, Annabeth, and Nico to get materials from the shops and the Alscapo ruins, and we could rendezvous with Leo and Calypso in California to help assemble the sword there." said Mary.
To my astonishment, no one objected to the plan, not even Percy and Annabeth, who preferred to work together.
"How are we supposed to get to these places?" asked Percy.
"We either light leap, water leap, or teleport. that's why each group has to have at least 2 elves with them, so they can use their concentration to leap the others. But some are going to have to go to Leo and Calypso first, like Dex and Linh, so they can help with the assembly." explained Michael.
"Ok"
So, we all assembled ourselves into our respective groups of three or four. Mary and Michael, and Percy would go with the book to the treasury, while Will, Nico, Fitz, and Wylie would go to find the steel, Keefe, Me, Biana, and Annabeth would go to find the gold and rock, and Dex, Linh, and Tam would go to get the silver and meet with Leo and Calypso. We all locked hands. I saw Mary evaporate with Michael and Percy. I saw Wylie and Fitz leap Nico and Will with them using the magic everyplace pathfinders, and I saw Dex, Linh and Tam get info on Leo and leap there. I heard Keefe say, "get ready for a rough landing!"
I ran. I ran so fast I lifted the others of their feet. My legs pumped, my heart thumped, and I heard the sound of lightning. I opened the void, thought of the place we were about to go, and free fell onto the ground, in an ancient ruin, on an island.
