What are we doing again? I asked. It was the fifth time, but I was confused. Nico was obviously annoyed with me, as the grass was black and withered wherever he stepped. Fitz, (what kind of name was that?), and Wylie were no help. they kept conversing in the Enlightened language, the weird babbling they call a language, and asking us questions about weird English words.

"We are going to get steel from some place with MONEY, and we are going to get out alive, and we are going to meet Leo Annoying Valdez, and we are going to heal Rhea and save the world!" yelled Nico. Since his 3-day bed rest at the infirmary, he seemed to be much better. His skin was less pale, as less pale as a son of Hades can be, his attitude seemed to be less defeated and angrier, was it a good sign, or bad? I didn't know.

Fitz and Wylie paused what they were babbling about at Nico's sudden outburst, (not sudden at all, if they were listening), and stared back and forth at us like it was going to be a very interesting tennis match. I glared at Nico. Nico glared back. we stood there, glaring, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Fitz and Wylie placing bets. I turned my attention back to Nico. It appeared as though he was closer, and in fact he was. I felt my face burn. Nico always made me feel self-conscious. UGH!! Why? Couldn't the fates have given me a different partner with Fitz and Wylie? WHY NICO? UGH!

"Are you saying ugh in your head?" asked Nico.

UGH! That guy always knew what I was thinking!!!

"I don't know everything you think, I can just guess because of your face." said Nico.

AGAIN????

"Guys?", asked Fitz in that ridiculous accent of his, " We don't have enough money for steel."  Nico and I stopped glaring at each other and stared at Fitz and Wylie.

"Great. We are just going to have to steal steel." grumbled Nico.

"I'm sorry, what? Please tell me that you said the metal steel twice." said Wylie, a little nervously.

"Nope." was Nico's short answer.

"NO! NO! NO!" complained Wylie. why was his name Wylie anyway? It was such a weird name. But who was I to complain. I have a father named Apollo.

"Come on flashy." said Nico. I had known him for a while now, and he never liked nicknames, and he rarely gave them to others, other than 'Sunshine' for me. UGH! What a stupid nickname.

"Hey!" complained Wylie.

"I think the name is appropriate." said Fitz.

"I think your name should be brain." Wylie retorted.

"Hey!"

"What about Will? he should have one!" said Fitz, no doubt drawing the attention away from himself.

"He already had one." said Nico, who obviously had a death wish. Which could be ironic, considering Hades and all.

"No I Don't!" I mumbled.

"What is it?" asked Wylie.

"Nothing." I said, before Nico could get it out.

"Why are we talking about this anyway?" I asked.

"Well, Nico told Wylie that--"

"Never mind" I interrupted, "How are we going to get the steal?"

"We are going to have to do a little Elf-y magic." said Nico.

Fitz had grabbed out his special device that conceals from the senses, which they called an obscurer. We all walked into a very convenient steel store. We sneaked into the storage room. We found a perfect sized sheet as heavy as a lead table and carried it between us. We were careful to make no noise. We walked out alive and made it to a concealed tree and rested.

"Thank goodness!" exclaimed Fitz, "This is going to be a little harder to leap with so let's get on with it."

We all nodded. We formed a square around the steal. Me and Nico each holding one of the Elves' hands as we leaped away. Coming up, to see a very overwhelmed Leo Valdez and a large group of arguing people.
