Do or Die

Jack held the heart in his hand as for the first time in his life he felt helpless. He didn't know what choice to make and if it would be the wrong one.

"Darling hang on Im begging just a little longer ...stay with me"
Jacks voice was becoming more desperate. Something I had never heard from him before.
"Thank you for showing me the sunlight along the horizon again..thank you for casting wind in my sails again Jack..but I don't think..I'm long for this world anymore...I'm sorry"
I breathed out as a tear slid down my eye.

"No darling dont be...I can't lose you now love... Ive never felt this way before, you've got so much to live for and you're too strong to quit now and I don't intend to let this go"
Jack said touching my cheek. I smiled up at him and closed my eyes but he pulled his hand away
"Oy! You're not dying today love !! I forbid it! You've got too much to live for now get the bloody hell up and fight for your life!"
Jack yelled, sending a fire through me that made me snap my eyes open.
I coughed up blood again as o shot up into a sitting position but looked at Will with a sad knowing look.
"Jack..He was stabbed in the heart...let Will take the Dutchman"
I said through pants. Jack stared at the heart then back at Will before nodding.
"I love you darling"
Jack said touching my cheek. I smiled at him
"You'll forever be my true love"
I said and Kissed Jack deeply.
He kissed back but let go quickly and ran over to Will.
Jack had Will grab the broken sword and stab the heart himself.Jones soon backed up against the edge of the ship, frozen as his beardly tentacles all twitched. He then looked to the sky with
hazed eyes
"Calypso"
He fell into the center of the whirl pool that was the essence of Calypso.
"We did it. Great job guys..He's gonna be alright"
I smiled at Elizabeth. She smiled at me weakly but frowned seeing how pale I was.
"Jack"
Elizabeth breathed out with wide eyes and a look of panic. Jack looked up at me and his face went pale as he jumped up without another thought, catching me in my arms. All adrenaline leaving my body.
I fell unconsious from blood loss, the last memory I had were voices coming from all around me repeating over and over again 'Part of the Ship Part of the Crew. .

(Jacks pov)

Jack stared around as all of Jones former crew circled them all. He was quick to scoop up Jessica in his arms and set her down next to Will. He knew Elizabeth was going to be the real struggle.
"The Dutchman must have a captain"
Bootstrap said with the chest and a knife in his hands.

He knew too well what Bootstrap was going to do.
Wills heart must reside in the box for him to be captain. For him to have any chance of a life. It was his only chance. It was better than him being dead.
Jack pulled Lizzy back but she struggled, trying to hold onto Will but even Bootstrap helped Jack pull her back.
Bootstrap gingerly picked Jessica up and handed her to Jack
"You take care of our Pirate King and First Lady to the Dutchman now, Jackie"
Bootstrap spoke with utmost seriousness. Jack nodded
"Take care of baby boot strap, as our King so affectionately calls him"
Jack said and without another word he grabbed onto Elizabeth's waist after using a rope to tie Jessica to his back.
"No! No I won't leave him!"
She screamed
"We don't have a choice, This this ship is going under with or without us! Jessica needs first aid now or she's going to die. Wills going to be alright Elizabeth but we have to go. Now"
Elizabeth gave one long last look at Will before wrapping her arms around Jacks waist. He took a sheet from the floor of the ship and held onto it to make it into a parachute. It sent them all flying in the air as the Dutchman sank underwater, with Will and the crew on it.

They fell in the water but Jack held Jessica tightly as difficult as it was to swim with one arm, Elizabeth helped him carry her and eachother to the Pearl's ladder. He held Jessica tightly on his back as Elizabeth helped keep her up while they both climbed to the ship.
He set Jessica down gently on the table, his brain going into overdrive to save her.
"Jack we still have-"
Gibbs was cut off by Jack pushing him out of the way
"Move"
He said simply as he grabbed a bottle of whisky and some medical supplies.
"Darling come on...you said you wouldn't give up"
Jack shook me for about 10 minutes but I groaned
"Amazing...everytime you touch me I'm jolted to life again"
I said weakly. Jack let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and put his forehead on mine.
"Bloody hell you scared me. Get me a blanket! And some rum!"
Jack yelled and Gibbs did just that.
Jack wrapped me up as Elizabeth sadly poured me a glass of rum. My heart aches for her. I can't imagine how she must be feeling right now knowing she'd only be able to see Will on land once every 10 years.. and she couldn't go with him..
"I cant move"
I sat up weakly but was only gently pushed back down.
"Stow it. Don't talk"
Jack said as he sipped some whisky and kissed me putting it into my mouth.I closed my eyes and left the delicious liquid hit my aching throat that
was burning for a drink. I got some movement in my body but I was useless to fight
"I'm ok...but Im not good for war now"
I said Jack nodded
"I know darling...just sit here and we'll just
take care of it. You can have the full bottle"
Jackk kissed me passionatly and then walked off
"The armadas still out there.The Endeavor's coming hard to syarboard, and I think its time we embrace the oldest and noblest of pirate traditions"
Gibbs said as Jack stared at the feet of ships with a bitter expression.
"Never actualy been one for traditions"
Jack said to Gibbs dismay, walking to the side
"Close haul her.Luff the sail and lay her in irons"
Jack said
"Belay that or we'll be a sittin duck"
Barbossa spoke, glaring at Jack
"Belay that belay that"
Jack told the crew. They were just confused at that point.
"but the arma-"
"Belay"
The Endeav-"
"Belay.Stow.Shut it!"
Jack and Gibbs argued back and forth as Jack walked up on the helm.
Becketts ship had started sailing twords us but the Perl didnt move...yet.
We saw the Flying Dutchman shoot up from the ocean and saw Will, alive and well.
Elizabeth's eyes welled with tears as she smiled. He returned her smile but then looked ahead.
The Perl, Dutchman we're on either side of Becketts ship now. Which was the perfect position for the Perl and the Dutchman to shoot cannon balls...but they didnt attack back. We weren't sure why but maybe Beckett realized without Jones and with the Dutchman on our side now, there was no chance of a fight.
After a bit the whole ship exploded and Beckett even died. As the Dutchman and Perl
passed by, the ship sank and the armada that once stood with Beckett fled.
We won.
The Perl started cheering and then all the other Pirate Lords and their crews cheered.
I smile but look up at the Helm
"Elizabeth....could you-"
"Sure"
She smiled as she helped me walk up the stairs.
I hadn't drank much whisky only drank
water.
Lizzy helped me next to Jack but he hadnt noticed me
"So thats it...we won. Maybe now we can sail in bloody peace. Calypso won't bother those precious to me. And only me. So what will you do now with that information"
I said smiling as I wrapped my arm around his neck.
He smiled pulling me infront of him and put my back against his chest.Jack wrapped his arms around my waist and his head on my shoulder
"Let's see the world on sea my darling. I love you"
He whispered in my ear before turning me around.
I smiled up at him happily. He took on a fleet head on and didn't run away onceX maybe he can change..
"I...."
I turned around and look into his eyes...I smile deeply
"I love you too Jack"I said as I kissed him.He kissed back but we stopped feeling someone was watching, we turned to see mr Gibbs
"Mr gibbs.You may throw my hat if youd like"
Jack said smiling and Mr gibbs took it
"Aye,Aye Cap'n....HOORAY!"
Gibbs said throwing it.
"Now go and get it"
Jack smiled evily as Gibbs gave him a glare before walking off.
I gasped as he pinned me agianst the wheel and we started making out lovingly.I gasp loudly
"What did i bump into your wound"
Jack said looking at me but I shook my head smiling. I put Jacks hand to my chest and his jaw dropped in shock feeling a steady beat in my chest
"Your heart. She gave it back"
He spoke in astonishment.
"She was probably waiting for the fight to be over so I didn't risk losing it to war, I owe her big time"
I said smiling at the ocean.
Suddenly we jumped back seeing the water shoot out and something shiny land on the ships deck.
Jack, Elizabeth, Barbossa and I all put our heads over it in a circle to see my mothers necklace, back to it's beautiful glory
"Thank you"
I said under my breath before I put it back on.
"Bloody hell I guess she really meant it...my hearts back!"
I said more excitedly.
Jack laughed at how excited I was and pulled me close, bending down to kss me again.
This went on for about another 20 minutes until Elizabeth came up
"Im getting ready to leave"
Jack and I broke apart
"You wont be staying
with us?"
i asked sadly and she shook her head
"I dont belong here, I also have to go home and tie off some ends and finances of my fathers so that I may collect his inheritance and start over. I love you Jess, I'm so happy for you"
She said and i walked over slowly to hug her
"Bloody hell I get to go back to being the only woman pirate on deck"
I groaned but she only laughed
"But you're king now. Anything you don't like you can just banish or punish"
She smiled down at me which I returned.
"I love you Elizabeth...dont ever change"
I giggled and she smiled
"You better send me a letter if you get pregnant with Jacks baby"
I blushed and swatted away that thought
"Shut up! I don't even want to think about that right now!"
I gagged as she laughed. Jack shook his head with a smile
"Well now if that's the case why did I see you puking over the ship yesterday before the war?"
Elizabeth asked making Jack snap his head
"I..I was just seasick!"
I defended as I put my hands on my hips
"You're a captain and now Pirate King and you expect me to believe you don't have a sea stomach?"
She retorted smirking. Before we could say anything else, Jack passed out. We both laughed hysterically at this.
"Bloody hell I was only joking I didn't expect him to pass out"
I said in between laughing
"She wasn't actually puking was she"
Mr. Gibbs said in a dull tone, looking down at Jack's unconscious form.
"Nope"
Lizzy and I said in unison and laughed again.
