Y/N's POV

(just in case it wasn't clear, most of the story is from y/n's POV. it only switches to someone else's when something important is happening)

"hey wake up. Felix wants to see you"

i felt someone shaking me awake. i saw Jisung sitting next to me while Jeongin tried rolling me off the bed.

"Jeongin. what. are. you. doing."

i said with a menacingish smile. i tried to look intimidating but that really wasn't ever going to work out with my messy hair, morning voice, and eye boogers.

Jisung and Jeongin both laughed. i sighed but started laughing too.

"come onnnn, Minho found food. like, real food. pancake batter and apple juice you know?"

Jeongin said excitedly while jumping around the bed. Jisung and i laughed at how cute Jeongin was being and Jisung went back to his room to take a shower.

"have you showered yet?"

i asked as i tried to wake myself up more. Jeongin nodded.

"look"

Jeongin said happily as he put my hand on his head. his hair was still damp.

i laughed and messed up his hair.

"you're being more loving than usual today. what's going on?"

i asked as i stretched and got out of bed. Jeongin just smiled and gave me a tight hug.

it was really out of character for him. Jeongin doesn't even like physical affection- Chan tries to hug him all the time and he avoids it 😭

"i had a bad dream. it was scary but i'm awake now so it's ok"

Jeongin said as he had a look of slight fear on his face. i smiled at him. he's so innocent. i feel like he would have been a sweet student if only the system hadn't thrown us here.

"i'm gonna take a shower now. are we all walking to Minho's room together?"

i asked Jeongin. he nodded and let go while i grabbed some clothes to shower.

i quickly showered and dressed since Jisung was fucking banging on the door for me to hurry up 😄

"we have to hurry up. we don't even know how long we can stay here"

Jisung said worriedly as he, Jeongin, and i walked downstairs to the lobby. we completely forgot Minho's room is higher than ours. no fucking way we're walking up those stairs.

"is no one else here?"

i asked as i looked around. i smiled upon seeing Minho, Changbin, and Seungmin sitting at a Starbucks table. they looked like rich ladies with their coffees while laughing and talking.

"i want coffee tooo"

i ran over to their table while Jisung and Jeongin followed behind me.

"here. Changbin figured out how to work the coffee machine so now we don't have to suffer without caffeine"

Minho handed me his cup and i took a sip. it had absolutely no hint of sugar in it.

"why is it so bitter"

i said as tears stung my eyes from the strong taste. Minho just laughed and smirked at me as he took a sip.

"is it? it tastes sweeter all of a sudden"

he said with mock confusion as he stared at his straw. i rolled my eyes and turned as i heard more people approaching.

"are we last?"

Chan asked as he came towards us with Felix and Hyunjin following. i nodded.

"Felix and i have something to do. we'll meet you guys later?"

i said to Minho. he tilted his head in a confused manner.

"what are you guys doing?"

he asked.

"i found a place where we can fix the compass so we're gonna do that before we leave"

i explained.

"are you guys gonna come eat with us?"

Minho asked. he kinda reminds me of a worried parent who wants to know everything about his kids' whereabouts.

"we'll join after we finish"

Felix said. Minho nodded and went to go talk to the others.

"ready to go?"

i asked Felix as i pulled the map out of my back pocket. he smiled and pulled out the compass.

"did you sleep well?"

i asked as we walked there together. Felix gave me his usual sunshiney smile but then it faded.

"i slept pretty well but when i woke up, Hyunjin was back. he came back at 5 am"

he said worriedly. my smile faded too.

"i saw Hyunjin in the hallway at like, 11. he spent 6 hours away?"

i asked. Felix nodded. we didn't speak about Hyunjin for the rest of the walk. i can tell he was on both of our minds though.

"oh yeah, Jeongin had a bad dream and he started being clingy all of a sudden. amazing right?"

i said while i watched for Felix's reaction. he had this adoring look on his face. he has a serious soft spot for Jeongin.

"at least he was clingy with you. he never wants to hug me"

Felix said as he fake cried. i laughed and we continued on our way while pointing at random mannequins.

we arrived at the jewelry store. we found tools behind the counter, and Felix got to work on the compass.

"hi!"

"OH MY GOD"

"HOLY SHIT"
