Aggro's P.O.V
It was around lunchtime when a sudden and horrifying thought hit me like a bat. Where was Leyla? I haven't seen her all day. And I'm pretty sure that Summer has picked up on it too. But should I say anything about it? I sighed softly and looked down at my feet. "Aggro? Where's Leyla? I haven't seen her all day." Summer asked. I looked up at her with sad eyes as I gave her my answer. "I'm not sure Summer." I told her truthfully. "Oh ok. I was hoping that you might know where she is because I haven't scene her all day." The Fastfin replied with a dejected look on her face. I sighed softly and closed my eyes. I had no ideas about where Leyla could've gone. Summer sighed again and twitched her tail from side-to-side like a cat. "Should we go out and look for her?" She asked. I looked to where the others were still eating there lunch, then I turned back to Summer. "Let's go find Leyla." I told her. We unfurled our wings and took flight.
We had been flying for what felt like two hours with no luck whatsoever. It was getting late but we wanted to keep looking for our missing friend. Summer dove into the ocean, just to make sure that Leyla hadn't fallen into the water. She soon resurfaced with a sad look on her face. "Anything?" I asked her. Summer sighed sadly and shook her head. "Nope." She told me. "We should probably get going, the sun is going down." I said. "Wait, I want to look in one more place." Summer replied back. I looked over in the direction of home. "Ok but let's make it quick." I told Summer. She nodded as we flew in silence. We searched a few more places before finally deciding to fly back to the Roost. The sun was just beginning to rise in the sky when we finally made it back home. We quietly entered the sleep cave and Summer closed the door behind us. I watched as Summer laid down in her hay bed. I looked over at mine. I was really tired, but I couldn't possibly sleep. I laid down in my bed, wondering the question on my mind: Where in the world could Leyla be?
Summer's P.O.V
I sighed softly as I watched the other dragons chase each other around. They looked like they were having fun but I was still thinking about Leyla. Where had she gone? Had something bad happened to her? These thoughts kept racing through my mind like a raging tempest as I walked over to join Aggro and Cutter, who play a game of volleyrock. "Hey Summer, come play with us." Cutter called me over with a motion of his tail. I smiled and walked over to join the game. Then Winger joined in and we did a round of boys against girls (Aggro and I won by 2 points). After playing a few more rounds we decided to take a quick lunch break. After lunch Aggro and I flew up to the roof of the roost to talk where we wouldn't be overheard. "So what are we going to do about this?" I asked her once we had landed on the roof. Aggro looked thoughtful. "Hmmm... don't worry about that, I have a plan."
