Aggro's P.O.V

I sighed softly and began pacing up and down in circles. I knew I needed to go with the other dragonets to stop the war between Blister, Blaze, and Burn, but I knew I'd never forgive myself if I were to leave without finding Leyla first. I sighed again and spread my wings, preparing to take to the sky in another desperate search of our missing friend.

I push my wings off the ground as hard as I can to get them moving, and soar through the open sky. The sun had set, emitting a dim golden glow across the flooded plains. The crescent moon glinted on the other side of the horizon.

By this point it was night and the sun had set hours ago. All I could see was the silvery glow of the moon guiding my path as I flew on, determined to find my missing teammate and friend before the sun rose the next day. But deep down in my heart - I knew it wouldn't be that simple.

I knew that it was going to take way longer than a day for me or any of the other team members to find Leyla. I just hope that wherever she is - she's safe and out of harm's way. I sighed again and yawned: it was slowly but surely becoming morning and the sun was slowly beginning to rise in the sky.

Feeling tired, hungry, defeated, and worried, I slowly and reluctantly began flying back home. It had been a long day and it wouldn't be any help if I was half-asleep while trying to find my friend. Yawning once more, I rubbed my eyes with my paws as I landed outside of the sleep cave - feeling exhausted, drained, sad, and depressed all at once, I slowly made my way to my hay bed and laid down. My last thoughts were of Leyla and telling the team about my secret. I closed my eyes and let the pull of sleep take me over, listening to Summer's soft snores and the sound of the crackling fireplace.

I woke up to Winger pacing the room like a caged animal. "Morning Wing! What's got you so stressed?" I asked. "I'm not stressed, I'm just wondering why Leyla hasn't come back yet." He told me. "I'm sure she's just out flying or training with Aggro. They'll be back soon, I'm sure of it." I told him. I knew that was a big fat lie, but I wanted to give him a bit of hope. So that's why I said what I did. "It's more than just what happened yesterday. I found Aggro and Leyla whispering to each other and stopping abruptly when they saw me. I asked what was up and they insisted it was nothing." Winger reported. Hmm. That didn't sound like Leyla. He continued, "I think I might have a plan to find out what's happening." I sighed and rubbed my eyes with a paw. That was actually a few days ago - but we were all tired and our brains were all as burnt out as a crispy marshmallow due to lack of sleep, but we couldn't sleep.

My eyes slowly opened to the sound of laughter and running pawsteps. I yawned and rubbed my eyes with my paws. It has been 3 days since Leyla's disappearance, and I've been really gloomy and depressed since the night Aggro and I had gone out to look for her, only to come back home with empty paws and a cloud of dispute over our heads. I sighed again and slowly made my way outside to join the others for breakfast. The conversation that I had had earlier with Wing popped into my head as I absentmindedly dug holes in the dirt with my claws.
