Who Am I?

I think Chara noticed that I was uneasy, "What's wrong?" they asked me. 'It's just really cold, don't you feel that?' I looked at them fully, Chara tilted his head and looked in a random direction. "Keep your guard up." They plainly stated, I nodded and tense up as it got even colder. Good thing I'm a skeleton.

I look around me, scared and unaware of what to expect. Would it be another ghost? A skeleton? Or even a sentient 5 foot paint brush... That was oddly specific, at this moment it kinda doesn't matter. Something tells me to look at the 'floor', looking at the floor I see a gray spot? It kinda looks like someone just spilled something there.

I noticed that chara has been oddly silent for the past few minutes? Seconds? 'Chara? Are you still there?' I asked them, when getting nothing in return I looked back at where they were. Chara wasn't there, why weren't they there?

I looked at the floor from where the gray spot was, but there wasn't anything there. It was gone... I look around the floor just to make sure that it is gone but instead I see a pair of shoes and socks and it looks to be covered by a never ending dripping substance. I stopped right then and there. "Hmm?"

They hummed out, "You're new.." I looked up to see the rest of them, and I was scared over nothing. They're a skeleton like me, an unknown substance that's dripping from their body but disappears when touching the ground covering them, wearing sneakers, basketball shorts, sweater, and a jacket. 'Odd choice in clothing, but I can't say anything about it.... literally.'

The being in front of me looks confused I wonder why. I waved my hand in a gentle motion, now they look even more confused.

"Who are you?" They asked, their voice sounded strained, like they were being hurt? 'My name is-' I started to mouth out, they interrupted me, "How about this" they paused, making me very confused. "Only answer yes or no to these questions. "

I nodded, and with that I just answered the questions with a nod or a shake. I was getting comfortable with their presence around me. "Would you like to stay with me?" I looked at them confused, "You're in an anti-void, alone, you can come with me and live... 'Happily' with a few others as well."

I look them in the eye to see any lie there, 'Will I really be able to go somewhere else again?', " We should go with,"  Chara whispered next to me, "We can leave, we'll be out of this blank space, and we wont need to be lonely anymore!" Chara cheesed, but the skeleton in front of me looked drained and nonchalant.

I sigh and nod, my eyes are becoming dry in this white area. Their mouth disappears, 'Wait- that can happen? ' Their appendage went to hover over me, preparing myself I closed my sockets and I felt covered.
