Formori's POV
^^^
I walk to the new school my father has signed me to go to. I am Ki Formori. My father, Leo, is the new principal of this academy and I'm guessing by his attitude, that he was excited for me to come here. I'm not his actual son but he adopted me... from somewhere. I've only remembered being in a fire and he came and saved me.
As soon as I stepped into the school grounds, I looked around and saw how big this academy was. This academy was for guardians or hunters. This universe is infested by creatures and monsters, and those who protect us from it are the Guardians. It's a group mixed with those who hunt the creatures and monsters and they protect people. I walked around, admiring the buildings. On one side there was a building and the other side was another. It was probably splitting the hunters and guardians.
I walked to the entrance and was stopped by someone. I looked up and saw a person who seemed to be in their 40s. I hated tall people, they always talked about how short I was, not realizing I could easily beat them. "What's with the blindfold, kid? Just because you're the principal's son doesn't mean you are better than me." He said, glaring at me. I stood there, waiting for him to move out of the way but he didn't and only continued to ramble on. "Let me test you kid and see if you're qualified to even be here," he said, backing me up. He pushed me away from the entrance and made me step in the middle of the pathway. "C'mon, show me what you've got," he said, pointing at me. I looked around and saw other students watching us.
"Professor Popo is doing it again, always bullying the poor new students." I heard some people say. "It's not Popo! It's Polpo!" he yelled. "Hurry up, I've got a class to teach." He said, groaning in annoyance. "Then why don't you leave me alone and go teach your class?" My father asked, walking out and leaning on the school entrance. I was annoyed, he talked about my blindfold. I don't like my eyes nor do others like it either. It was my first day at a new school and he wouldn't let me in. Father told me I shouldn't cause violence, but I'm about to do it as he is being annoying.
' "Professor Polpo, I've been hearing rumors of you harassing new students. Do you think that is how you would teach those who are willing to protect society?" My father said, glaring at Mr. Polpo "No, I am just testing this new kid. He was acting all cocky and such." Polpo said, glaring at me. I glared back at him, not like he could tell anyway. "He is my son, why must you do this?" He asked. "Like I said, to test him." He replied, in an annoyed tone. "Fine, if you win, I won't fire you and I'll talk to this young man. Formori, if you win, I'll fire him and give you an award." He said. "I'll ask your mother to cook your favorite food for lunch since today is her day off. She wouldn't mind doing that, how about it, Formori?" my dad asked, looking at me.
I nodded in agreement. I didn't mind either and I have been craving it. The price was not too small and not too big, but it was enough motivation for me. I put my bag down and I cracked my knuckles and he started running towards me. He swung at me but he missed and I hit him in the shoulder. I dodged and hit him in the shoulder. I pushed him far away from me, falling to the ground as I pushed him. He groaned in pain took out a knife and threw it at me. "HEY!" my father yelled, running to me. I grabbed the knife and threw it away. I ran towards him and made a spear out of water and hit him with it. I made it dull, very dull. That way, I wouldn't hurt him but it would be enough that he would admit defeat.
He fell and groaned in pain. "GAH GODDAMMIT!" He yelled, trying to hit me. I dodged and he jumped up and threw fireballs at me. I frowned at his stupidity and raised my hand towards the fireballs. I summoned water to put out the fireballs. He fell, watching his fireballs vaporize away. I walked past him and patted my father's shoulder. "Good job my boy." He said, smirking. "Now, Mr. Popo, let's go and talk in my office, shall we? Formori, your first class is class identity. Go ahead. It's room number 298." He said, clapping his hands. Two people immediately came and carried Polpo away to his office while I walked in and looked for the room. My first class was on the second floor, so I took the stairs and kept getting stares and whispers.
