Chapter 5... Teaming up...

Formori's POV

It's been three weeks since I started my learning and training at WOGH (World of Guardians and Hunters). Fuyushi and Akemi have been following me around. They see me as a friend, and I'm not too sure how to react to that yet I guess... I find them more comfortable to be around than the other students so far. They showed me around the school, telling me about teachers I shouldn't make angry or annoyed, where to go for classes, and such. They're nice, I'd like to get along with them.

My father, Leo, has been noticing the way I have been around them and he always teases me about it. Since it was almost the end of the month, I had to make a team or find one. You can work alone, but for freshmen, you must have a team. I wouldn't mind I guess, I just need to be able to find someone who is willing to cooperate with me, and the two I have in mind are Fuyushi and Akemi. I've never felt this... comfortable before I'd say. I usually hate trying to ask people for stuff, a loner my father would call me. But ever since Fuyushi and Akemi stood up for me during the time the boy threw hot soup at my head I've felt at ease around them, which is unusual, but I'm starting to get used to it.

I walked towards the cafeteria and got my food, making my way to the spot I have been sitting at since I started this academy. I began to eat before I noticed Fuyushi and Akemi walking towards me, sitting in front of me as usual. I was curious though, I know most people here aren't human, almost everybody is half beast. I put my finger up, making a little message. "Are you both human? Or a half beast?" I asked, continuing to eat. They both looked at me, chuckling a bit as Fuyushi looked at me. "My family has the bloodline of the Sacred Nymphs. So I'm basically a Nymph." Fuyushi said before Akemi spoke up. "I am a descendant of the Boreas Dragons. You may know about it since I used to be in the royal family." Akemi said as she smiled.

I nodded and continued to eat before Fuyushi spoke up. "What about you Formori? Are you a human, half-beast, full-blooded beast?" Fuyushi asked as both he and Akemi continued to eat. I was a bit startled before I decided to lie to them, making a message saying I'm human. They didn't think anything of it and nodded, looking a bit sad. "Oh... That means you won't have a long lifespan..." Fuyushi said in a sad tone as Akemi agreed. People who are half-blooded or full-blooded have much longer lifespans, they can live for thousands of years if they could or wanted to.

I don't know how I know, but I'm no human. I am a Nephalem. An offspring of a god and a Demon. And I know, my previous parents are not a God nor a Demon. My step-father also found out about that for me. Me and my parents don't know why it's like this, or how I am a Nephalem, but they think that one of my parents might've been a subject of the Creation of the Mythical Dragon Race.

The Creation of The Mythic Dragon Race is the time when the Saviour of The Heavanly Race and the Monarch of Demon decided to try and create their own Mythic Dragon. Since the Mythic Kingdom would not accept either of their offerings to join their side, they needed the power of the Mythic race' thus, they decided to attempt to create one themselves. By using a human and a drop of blood from the Saviour of Heavanly Race and the Monarch of Demons, they would put the blood into the human. Humans are the most compatible with supernatural types of blood, meaning they would have a better outcome since their blood is neutral. Humans are perfect for such things, their bodies are the only ones that can withstand only a single drop of blood from both Leaders.

Other Species, would obviously become much stronger, but not as powerful as a human would be. If a fairy were to get a drop of the Saviours or the Monarch's blood, she would have unnatural abilities. But as for a human, they would become extremely powerful and dangerous, especially if the human can already use magic beforehand. They are perfect for creating a new race, and that is what they wanted. They wanted to create their own dragon, using humans that have the ability to use magic. It was not hard to find, the hardest part was having a successful experiment.
