Xander's POV

***

Soon, Void fell unconscious before his body disappeared suddenly. I quickly looked over to Agaar, who stood there amused. "Ah, what a sight to behold. I love seeing you in writhe in sadness and anger, it's just so entertaining." Agaar said. His tone is one full of pleasure as his smile turns wicked. I stood up, gripping the handle of my bow tightly. "WHERE ARE THEY?! TELL ME THIS INSTANT!" I ordered, creating ice shards. They flew towards his head but he melted them before they could make contact. "You can't even let me see the bodies of my loved ones... you are cruel. So cruel." I stated.

He glares at me angrily as he raises his hand. "You are the one who killed the ones I called family. I loved them like they were my family!" He yelled, before chanting something and sending down a spear made of fire toward me. I block it with ice but my ice melts and it pierces through. Luckily, I managed to move out of the way before it hit the floor. It exploded and sent me into a wall, being crushed by the pressure. "They brought that upon themselves... Your goddess was the one at fault. It was her fault! She destroyed my family! She killed them all! And you are still here, trying to kill me because you don't want to believe she was in the wrong!" I yelled out, standing back up. I aimed at his head, shooting, and as the arrow flew in the air it formed itself into ice, flying faster in the air. He barely dodges it, a little scratch on his cheek before it quickly healed. "You're getting better at using a bow. I'll end you once and for all." He said before summoning multiple fireballs and sending them towards me. I block them, getting burned in the process as I quickly form ice from my feet and stomp into the ground, making the ground shatter as I send the ice shards toward Agaar. Agaar gets hit by one of them but melts the other shards.

He hissed in pain, slowly melting the shard in his arm as he continued to send out everything at me. "You'll never get away with this! You took her mana crystal! You will pay!" He yelled out after finally melting my ice. I just remembered... I took her mana crystal, I took her powers... her powers are mine to use...

I created a thick ice shield around me as fireballs came for me. My thick ice wall works, but not for long, but it might be long enough for me to harness the goddesses' powers. The endless fireballs kept hitting my shield as I tried to harness the powers of the goddess's powers, but I struggled. I never even once tried to take in her mana, her mana crystal just laid within me. I never tried taking her mana or using it so I struggled to do so.

I keep attempting to break the crystal and take in her mana, but I fail each time. Oh, how I wish Void were still here... he'd know what to do. He'd helped me... but no. All because someone hungry for revenge had to take out his rage onto the ones I love. Agaar took away their bodies... not even allowing me to remorse for them. If I can't kill him... I'LL MAKE HIM WISH HE WAS DEAD.

I barely had the time to run from the last fireball that broke through my shield. I moved in time but my leg was caught, making me hit the wall and fall to the floor. Slowly, I open my eyes to see a sword made of flames coming to my face. I try to move and I get stabbed in the arm and the sword pinned my arm onto the wall. I was stuck, and I couldn't use my ice to vaporize it or freeze it. I struggled to move and while I did so Agaar slowly approached me, smiling wickedly.

"How amusing. Seeing you like this is so... wonderful! I wish that your family was here to see what you looked like~" Agaar taunted while he lifted his hand, making the heat in the sword that pinned my arm on the wall. I yelled in pain, and my gaze slowly looked up at Agaar. I felt something. Was it rage? Was it despise? Was it revenge? I'm not sure of it yet, I only know that once I screamed at him a shard of ice of a beautiful blue and white colors appeared, vaporizing the sword made of flames and it pierced into Agaar, stabbing his wing and arms together as it shot right through him.
