Don't Fade - Vance Joy
"I wish you could see what I see when I'm seeing you. I want you to know how I know that I need you."

Y/N's POV
It's been about four weeks since our lunch date with Evan and Flo. I pretty much FaceTime Ev almost everyday just to shoot the shit and tease him about various things. He's gotten so much more confident in being independent and started seeing a therapist to help him work through his trauma.
Flo was a little hurt at first when he told her that's what he wanted to do. She felt like she wasn't doing enough to help him be happy, which is so incredibly far from the truth. Once Evan explained that, and told her it was to help lessen her emotional load, she shook herself out of that self-placed funk and they both were so much happier because of it.
Seeing them together was so refreshing, and I was glad that Ev had found someone who actually deserved him.
They both deserved the absolute world.
I was just getting finished with putting the top slice of homemade ciabatta bread on top of our tomato basil sandwiches when I looked at the food and smiled. I liked to tease Lizzie about how serious she took her garden, but I had to admit. It was so nice to have fresh veggies and herbs whenever we needed them. After taking a moment to stand back to look at my masterpiece, I looked at the time.
One o'clock in the afternoon.
I hadn't heard from Lizzie hardly at all today and I was starting to miss her even though we were literally only feet apart in separate rooms. Grabbing the two plates, I made my way to the office. It was my best guess at where she was since I could hear soft music playing from the kitchen.
Reaching my destination, I peeked my head in and smiled when I saw my fiancé sitting in the office chair with her head resting on her right palm. She was so focused on whatever she was looking at on the computer screen that she didn't even look up when I cleared my throat the first time.
"Knock, knock." I said, deciding that using my voice would be much more helpful in getting her attention.
She looked up then, and a soft smile spread to her cheeks. One of my favorite smiles to put on her face. "Hi, my love. Is that lunch?"
"It is!" I answered, proudly. "I made some tomato sandwiches if that sounds okay?"
"Sounds perfect." She said as I approached her and sat her plate on the desk in front of her, taking the chair on the opposite side so I could see her. "Are those tomatoes from the garden?"
"Of course they are. The basil too! I would never let your hard work in the garden go to waste."
"Good." She said as she scrunched her nose and smiled before taking her first bite into the sandwich and humming in satisfaction.
"What are you working on?" I asked, craning my neck to try and see the computer screen without any luck.
Lizzie giggled as she took pity on me and turned the monitor at an angle to where we could both see. "I'm trying to get all the addresses we need to send wedding invitations."
"Oh." I replied, silently scanning the list and feeling sort of nervous about how many A-List celebrities I saw. Most I had expected and were excited to see like Scarlett, Robert, Evans, and Renner. But others... I was not expecting. "Taylor Swift?" I gasped, almost choking on a half-chewed basil leaf. "You know her?"
Lizzie shrugged as she watched me with a mischievous grin. "I met her once but we never exchanged numbers or anything. I'm just going to give her invitation to my publicist and we'll cross our fingers that she gets it and is willing and able to come."
