Meanwhile, Brer Rabbit had just brought Chad and Jeremy to the barn where Patty was waiting.
"Here we is, Sis Patty!" said Brer Rabbit.
"Like hi, brers!" said Patty.
"Patty's in charge of barn duty?" said Chad.
"I sure am, Chaddy! I just love this barn" said Patty.
"Doesn't it remind you of that abusive producer's farm?" said Jeremy.
"A little. But before I came to this mountain, I lived in Idaho where it was actually nice. Sometimes, when I'm homesick for Idaho, I sleep here with the horses" Patty explained.
"That explains why you come home with straw in your hair" said Jeremy.
"Oh no; that's a fashion choice. Don't you like it?" said Patty.
Jeremy cleared his throat awkwardly. "Of course I like it."
While looking at the animals, Chad came across an adorable sheep in its pen.
"Awww! Jeremy, look. It's a sheep. Oh how sweet" Chad cooed.
"Yeah, dat's Woolly" said Brer Rabbit.
Woolly the sheep was nuzzling against Chad as he pet her.
"I think she likes you, Chad. But don't get too distracted by that cute little cotton ball. We have a long list of chores to do" said Patty.
The list had so many chores, it seemed too long for Jeremy.
"Oh dear! I just remembered I left... the oven on... in the Briar Patch. My pie will burn!" he lied.
"Oh please. You've never even eaten pie, much less made one" said Patty.
"You should have gone with botulism. No one ever asks follow-up questions" Chad whispered.
"Now then. While you fellas finish this list, I'mma go build a new pig trough. See you soon" said Patty before leaving.
As soon as she was gone, Jeremy handed the list to Brer Rabbit.
"Brer Rabbit, I order you to do these chores" he said.
"I can't do all dat. I's just a bunny. You do 'em, Brer Chad" said Brer Rabbit.
"I don't have time to do any chores. I have a sheep to cuddle" said Chad as he petted Woolly.
"Well, I'm not cleaning up! It's a pig sty in here" Jeremy argued.
"Wait... Jeremy old boy. I think I have an idea to get us out of barn duty" said Chad.
