TIME: 2 years later.
YEAR: 1982

JULIES POV:
*ringing*
"James will you get that?"
I was making breakfast. I had to admit, I was just as bad at cooking as my dad.
James picked up the phone on the counter.
"Hello, one sec"
He laughed at looked at me.
"Don't burn down our house, we just moved in"
I laughed and continued cooking.
Me and James just recently had gotten married, about 3 months ago. We had just finished moving into our new house. It wasn't the best house but it was good enough for us.
"Yeah I'll tell her, that's awesome, we will have lots more space"
"Who was that" I said pouring his food onto a plate.
"Your dad just bought out the other half of the building so their extending the dinner."
"Well that's good, it was kinda crowded after we added the stage for both the animatronics. And hopefully there will be more seating. Some days it got so busy we had to make a waiting list."
"remember that one time, there were so many people that we stayed open and extra hour and a half"
"Holy crap we were loaded that day"
I sat down next to him.
"I love you" he said kissing my cheek
"I love you too"
"Wow this is..."
"Hey it's not like I'm going to school to become a cook"
We both laughed.
We both finished our food.
James had gotten a job at a car shop, but he still sometimes came and worked down at the dinner. I had been taking some college classes. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to major in yet. I kinda had putting it off. I still kept my job as a part time waitress at the dinner though.
We drove into town and down to the dinner.
"Good morning you too"
My dad greeted us a the door.
"How's the new house coming?"
"Good, we just barely finished unpacking"
"He house feels so empty without you, but you two are perfect for each other, I couldn't have asked for a better man to be my daughters husband. Your mother would have loved James."

Today was a Sunday so we weren't open.
"So you bought the place next door"
"Yep, the people that were there before moved out so they offered me the other half for a great deal. All we have to do is cut out the wall. Do a bit of remodeling. I'm thinking of redecorating a bit. And I may make an official "arcade" instead of a bunch of arcade games in the corner of a room"
"Well it looks like we have a lot to do"
"I called in some guys to help tear out the wall, the rest we have to do"
"We're sure gonna be busy"
