Chapter 19

Maggie's P.O.V
The girls and I wear getting ready as were the boys. I was kind of nervous to go to dinner with Alex's mom. I remember when we were kids she used to be kind of rude but nice at the same time. It was weird she was weird. Maybe that's where Alex got her weirdness from.
We walked downstairs at the same time the boys did and it kind of reminded me of a wedding. We walked out of the house to the cars I looked forward to see Alex swinging hers and Zayn's hands back and fourth. I saw Ashton standing there waiting for Kori and then we all left to the place. When we got there Alex's mom waved us over and Lexi, Alex's little sister hugged us.
Dinner went well and we were thinking about what to get for dessert. Kori kept looking in one specific spot worriedly. What's wrong with her.

Caspin's P.O.V.
I faked a smile as I swirled my drink. The girl sitting across from me laughed as she told a story. My other friends listened intently but my mind still lingered elsewhere. My eyes caught sight of Kori at a table of people I didn't recognize. A slight angry rose in my gut at the sight of Kori.
"If you'll excuse me, I will be back," I stood and smoothed my shirt as I headed towards the bathrooms. While trying to avoid passing them, I spotted one of the more interesting of the boys. I smirked to myself and narrowed my eyes at Kori. As I attempted to be a sophisticated young adult as I approached their table with a smile.
"My dearest sister," I said and spoke gently laid my hand on Kori's shoulder, "One might never expect to see you here."
I struggled to keep eyes from meeting those of the others since I can't help the odd color of them. Yet, I still managed to hold a smile and a happy tone.
Niall's P.O.V
I noticed Kori was tense and when that boy walked up she looked nervous and scared. He was kind of weird like who even does that.
Alex's mom cleared her throat. He looked up at her slightly.
"If you wouldn't mind we are trying to have a nice dinner." with that he walked towards the bathrooms. We all looked at Kori for an explanation but she just looked away from us.
"Come on bathroom break" Alex said standing up and leading the girls.
Alex's P.O.V
"So um who in the world was that" I asked.
"That was my brother Caspin." she said sighing "We don't get along well so we don't talk much. I don't know why he's here or why he just randomly talked to me it's not making sense. Unless he wants something."
"Maybe he just wants to fix things" Maggie said
"I don't think so Mags" she said on the verge of tears. That's it we're leaving and if I ever see that boy again I swear. He made my best friend upset he better watch out.
We walked out of the bathroom in a triangle formation. Like guys squad goals for real.
" I think we should go" I said noticing them looking at us and that they payed the bill.
We walked past that guy and I gave him the most evilest glare I could. Is evilest even a word. I shrugged and walked with everyone else until we got to the cars to go home. If that boy ever comes around again it's not gonna be good.

Caspin's P.O.V.
My nostrils flared with anger as I nodded towards Kori and walked away. I never did understand her which is probably why I don't like her. I glanced at the group of boys she was with curiously. The girl that appeared to be Kori's closer friend obviously didn't like me. This surely would help me in the future.
"Caspin, are you alright?" my "date" asked quietly.
I nodded and linked my arm with hers as we walked. A mischievous smile crept onto my cheeks as we went. I kept a close eye on Kori's group and followed their direction. My concentration was solely on driving. I would prefer my sister didn't always despise my presence.
