Chapter 14

Alex's P.O.V
I was sitting on my living room couch with Kori as the notebook started to play. I wasn't really paying attention just thinking about what I had seen yesterday.

************flashback*************
Maggie, Kori, Braxton, and I were walking through the grocery store trying to find food. Our cart was almost full already but we still wanted some chips and stuff. After about 15 more minutes of shopping we walked up to pay.

Everybody was putting the stuff on the counter but I was staring at a magazine.
The headline read "Did Zayn Malik find a new girl?" It had a picture of Zayn and a different girl she was prettier than me and was blonde with a lot of make up. I quickly grabbed the magazine and put it on the counter the lady checked it out and rung everything up. We paid then left. Everybody had looked at the magazine so they knew.
I read the article and started to cry.

He hadn't even called me recently. That lead me to believe it was true.
" Can we order a pizza since your making me watch this movie on valentines day? Also because I don't have a boyfriend at the moment." Kori said I laughed and nodded pausing the movie and grabbing the phone. I ran to the kitchen and got the number.
"Hi I would like to place an order. Delivery please. 2 large pepperoni pizzas thank you ." I hung up
"Alright I will be about 45 minutes." I said as I walked in playing the movie.

The door bell rang and I walked to get it when I answered flowers and chocolates were handed to me. I was really confused. I saw Koris name all over them so I handed them to her and the bell rang again this time it was the pizza. I handed him the money and he said thanks along with happy valentines day.
Kori was in tears when I walked in so I read the card. It was from Ashton he was apologizing and he was going to come get her later on. I put the pizza on the counter and opened it to see it was in the shape of a heart.
"Aw look at how sweet a heart shaped pizza." Kori laughed and got a piece with ranch and continued watching the movie.
My phone started ringing and it was a face time with Zayn. I answered as his face showed up on my screen.
" Happy valentines day." he said
"Happy valentines day"
"If you saw that article in a magazine it's fake I don't have a clue who that girl was and I never went to the clubs with the guys." he said looking sad
"Good now that that's cleared up-" the door bell rang cutting me off
He laughed "answer it and then we can finish our conversation." I set my phone down on the counter and walked over to the door.
I opened it to see Zayn standing there with a bouquet of roses a giant stuffed animal and a big box of chocolates. Kori laughed at my face and she took the stuff from him and into the kitchen.
I jumped on him and kissed his lips.

A bad valentines day just turned into a good one and it couldn't be more perfect.
