Chapter 28

Braxton's P.O.V
~months later~
I watched as she spun around in the middle of the park kicking at the leaves on the ground as more fell in her hair from the wind. She looked so happy like nothing could touch her or ever bring her down. I wanted to be the reason for that smile but I had to be a screw up. This situation is just all messed up. I started to think about Justin Beibers song that should be me. It honestly should but it's not and its my fault not anyone else's.
She was just giggling and smiling as Kori kicked leaves next to her. My sister taking pictures every so often. The boys were in tour and Alex had to fly out every so often to see Zayn so that this dating thing was believe able. I haven't really been social except for my girl of the week. That's how I've coped as wrong as it sounds it helps. Alex seems just fine even if Kori and Maggie say she's not. Her hair has faded and is back to the brown blonde ombré thing. She looks gorgeous as always.
Halloween was quickly approaching and I didn't want to think about it. Halloween is the girls favorite and we got invited to a Halloween party in Hollywood. Mainly because of the boys but I'm not complaining. Alex and I were going to do a couple costume but that's obviously out. I don't know I guess we'll find out what everyone's gonna be later when we go shopping for costumes.
Alex's P.O.V
I looked at Braxton as he kept staring and shaking his head every so often. He seemed okay....kind of. I know I'm not okay even if I seem like it. It's scary to think about really. That someone can look so happy but is having mental battles with themselves about getting out of bed and living life or not. I was nervous about this Halloween party I knew what had to happen it was only a matter of time till it did.
~at the mall~
We were all waking through the mall with our Starbucks looking for the spirit Halloween store. Once we got there we started to look for our costumes. After hours of looking this is what we came up with....
Maggie - alice in wonderland
Braxton- vampire
Caspin- superman
Cameron- batman
Ashton- captain America
Kori- creepy doll
Alex- cute doll
After that we all just walked around looking at stuff to complete our costumes. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I picked it up.
Zayn: hey are you ready for the party. I'm kind of scared.
Me: yes I am everything is going to be fine.
I put my phone back as Kori smiled sheepishly. She new about everything. I was scared too but I wasn't going to show it. We all walked out of the mall and got ready for our flight.
As we boarded the plane I sat in between Kori and Braxton. I put in my headphones and got ready. I never really liked flying it scared me and made me really nervous. I ended up falling asleep and waking up when we got there.
We stepped of the plane to see the 1D boys waiting. We got into the taxi and went to the hotel. We all got ready together and then left. All the guys were making fun of us because our dresses were a little short. Not like short enough to show anything terrible but they show enough. We walked into the big place that was just crawling with famous people and then the people they were dating, normal people, or paparazzi. I was excited I've never been to one of these before. It's really amazing and I haven't even walked the whole way through it. I can't wait!
