Chapter 25

Caspin's P.O.V.
I glared into the flames of the campfire while the others chit-chatted. My arms were crossed across my chest in frustration. I paid little attention to what was going on with the current conversations. I turned in surprise to face Cameron, his hand on my shoulder. I pulled away and snatched another cigarette from my pocket, blowing smoke in his face. He glowered at me but didn't say anything...yet.
Cameron's P.O.V
"What the heck is your problem" I screamed at Caspin coughing on the smoke from his cigarette. "Why have you been acting like this it doesn't make sense. One Second your in a happy let's go pick flowers in a field manner and the next your in a I want to kill you with an ax." He just stared at me not saying anything. I shook my head and the started to walk away "you know what forget it I'm done." I got into my car and drove of not sure where I was going.
Maggie's P.O.V
"What just happened" I questioned everyone else just shrugged and Caspin glared at me. He got up and walked away. Alex was looking around probably thinking of something to do to break the tension. Zayn's phone started ringing and he looked down at it answering.
"Hello"
"Why would I do that"
"No I'm not gonna do that and I don't think she's gonna be happy about it either."
"Fine"
We all looked at him and he just looked back.
"Layla you know I love you right" he said looking at her. she nodded and looked confused. "That was Simon he wants me to fake date Alex for publicity." Layla looked at him and Alex's head shot up. "I'm still allowed to date you and she's still allowed to date Braxton." he said
"Why?" Alex questioned.
"People saw us hanging out after and at your concert and they thought we are back together. The publicity went up for me and the boys." He looked at Alex synthetically. "listen Alex I'm-"
"It's fine I'll do it" she said.
Braxton stared and then pushed her off him and walked away obviously mad. Layla picked her up and brought her next to Zayn.
"Listen it's your job babe and I understand you have to do what you have to do and I'm not mad. Maybe a little jealous because Alex is gorgeous but I understand it's for you and the boys. I love you Zayn but let me know when this is over so I can come back out as your girlfriend bye Zayn." she said kissing his cheek. She walked away and Zayn stared.
Alex hugged him and whispered 'I'm sorry.' This has been one eventful. Night lets see where it goes.
Caspins P.O.V
After walking off I headed into the woods nearby. I checked my phone frantically before throwing it onto the ground. I slid into a sitting position with my back against a tree. I grabbed my phone and dialed Cameron's number but hit end before it went through. I tried to dry my face on my sleeve as I decided to try and somewhat stagger back. I threw myself back into my chair, ignoring the freaky love bird show. With a cigarette half in my mouth and my sunglasses on, I faced them with a smile,
"Anyone got any booze?"
Alex's P.O.V
I have Caspin a look and then pointed inside. "Hey while your in there check on Braxton please." I said he just nodded walking away.
A few minutes later Braxton and Caspin came walking out of the house well stumbling.
"Are you guys seriously drunk?" I said getting mad.
"Well it's helping me forget you so yess" Braxton said looking at me.
"Braxton!?" Maggie yelled
"What Maggie I mean she never loved me since she immediately went to him." he yelled back "I mean look there basically all over each other. I don't know why I even fought for you it was pointless you left me anyways." he said stating out talking to mags and then talking to me at the end.
"I don't know why I gave up the best relationship of my life for someone like you!" I screamed and then ran into the house.
I can't believe I trusted him and told him I loved him. I know I shouldn't of gone with Zayn but Simons part of the reason I'm living my dream I can't get on his bad side. I just need to sleep and never wake up again. I let the darkness consume me and went into the land of dreams.
