"(Name), look who's here~" You smiled brightly as the man came over to you and kissed your cheek. "Vic." You said softly.

"Hey, darlin'." He said in a heavy country accent.

Vic sat on your bed and hugged you softly, making sure not to squeeze you too hard. You smiled as you broke the hug. "I missed you, asshole." Harry frowned. "Language." You looked at him. "Who're you, Captain America?" Harry's jaw was wide open. "Okay. Okay, I'll leave you be."

Harry walked out before you returned to Vic, taking his cowboy hat off and putting it on your head. "You.. uh, lost any hair yet?" Vic asked. You nodded softly as a few strands of hair fell from under the hat. Vic looked at you with sympathy and took your hand. "Come on, I have something for ya in the car." You nodded as you stood up and put on a jacket and UGG boots.

Vic took your hand and led you down the stairs before you tripped and landed on him. Looking up at him made all those feelings come back again as he looked at you with his green eyes. He chuckled softly as you clenched onto his flannel. "You alright, love? That was quite a fall." You nodded softly as you kept going down the stairs.

He led you to his car and opened the trunk, he dug for some things there and came out with a razor, a bonnet, and your favorite snacks. "I thought maybe these would make you feel better. We could shave your head and keep it covered, or if you wanna rock your baldness--" He said as he nudged you with his elbow, making you smile. "--we could do that as well. Oh, and I brought your favorite candy and soda, so, yeah." You smiled as you hugged him softly. "Thanks, Vic."

He nodded before taking your hand again and leading you to the bathroom. He patted the toilet seat next to you and started the razor. "This won't hurt a bit." He said as you took a deep breath and felt buzzing on your head.

Vic wiped the rest of your hair off of your shoulder and smiled at you. You looked at him before looking in the mirror. You had always been self-conscious about your beauty and what you looked like to other people, always maintaining your skincare routine and wearing clothes that didn't show your insecurities. "A-am I still pretty?" You asked. Vic smiled softly as he leaned down to your level. "You have always and will stay beautiful, darlin'. I don't know why you think without your hair, you'd be ugly."

You looked at your feet for a while before looking back up and seeing Vic's face centimeters from yours. He glanced down at your lips before looking back at your eyes. "Can I...?" He asked. You looked at the ground. You weren't sure if you and Shaka still had anything going on. Sure, there was that little stare-off you both had a few days prior and he said those things, but he'd probably say them to his siblings or Elvis.

Maybe the breakup was meant to be. For you to be with someone you once loved again. To find who was meant for you. You looked back at Vic before nodding. He smiled and your lips connected. He wrapped his hands around your waist.

You sat up in your hospital bed, Vic asleep on your shoulder, as you watched Ginny & Georgia on the tv. You looked at Vic and kissed his head before getting a text from Shaka. Can we meet up? You looked at the text before looking back at Vic. You picked up the phone. When?

You and Shaka met up at a frozen yogurt place. You were wearing a winter hat because it got extremely cold on your scalp. You sat at a chair before seeing Shaka enter the store. You waved him over and he sat down across from you. "Hey, (Name). You look great." You chuckled. "You know I look like shit." You said. Shaka smiled. "Did you, uh, get anything?" He asked, trying to make conversation. You nodded. "No, not yet. How have you been?" Shaka sighed. "Not that great actually. If you didn't hear from the school emails and stuff, Principal Glass died." You covered your mouth in shock. "Really? I'm so sorry. I know you two were close."

He nodded. "But.. um, that isn't the real reason I asked you to come here today. I was wondering if you could give me a second chance. We could take it slow, and I'm building up on my trust, so-" You furrowed your eyebrows. "Wait, so, you only came here to ask if we could get back together. That's it? 'Hey, (Name), are you feeling okay? How has your health been? Have you been writing any songs?' None of that?" You asked.

Shaka stayed silent and sighed. "I'm sorry, (Name). I can't function properly without you in my life." You rubbed your eyes. " I am in your life, just not the way you want me to." You said. Shaka tried to hold your hand but you pulled away. "Shaka, I don't need this right now, please." You said as you wrapped your shawl around your neck and stood up. "(Name), please, just hear me-" You looked at him one more time and that told him to shut up.

"I hope that we can be friends, Shaka. I'll see you at Principal Glass' Second Line." You said as you sneezed. "Ooh, shit-" You said to yourself as you sneezed again.

You were accompanied by Harry and Vic as you both showed up at Principal Glass' Second Line. Jade smiled as she saw you but frowned as she saw Vic. Cocoa came over to you and kissed your cheek and forehead. "How have you been, sweetheart?" She asked as she smiled at you. You nodded. "I'm alright." You said. Cocoa forced a smile as she saw Vic. "And who's this?" She asked in a strained voice. You smiled and held Vic's hand as he tipped his black cowboy hat to Cocoa. "This is Vic. He's my boyfriend." You said as you looked at Vic.

Cocoa continued smiling as she walked back to Moz and whispered to him. "He's too cute, how do we get him out of the picture?" Moz shrugged as they began dancing and Jade started singing. "Oh when the saints go marchin' in~ Oh when the saints go marchin' in, I wanna be in that number when the saints go marchin' in~" You smiled as Vic twirled you. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Shaka dancing but with a sad smile on his face. You frowned softly but brushed it off. While you were with Vic, there wasn't a care in the world.
